BTW, what happened to MNS? I can't get my computer to enter the site....

Hey Uncle, glad you started a thread! Hope to keep up with your progress. MNS has become a shady place, you aren't missing out on much.
How would you describe the new version of the implant?

Hi Uncle,
If you could provide a detailed summary of what happened during the last surgery as well as with the second surgery, that would be much appreciated.
Questions I think that would be helpful;
- What/did anything go wrong with the first penis implant. If so, what happened?
- What caused you to decide to go back for a second time.
- Stats for before and after for both the first operation and the second operation.
- Any relevant information that Elist shared with you regarding implantation technique and materials used. What modifications and improvements did he make?
Thanks, stormy

Hey Good Nephews: My new implant is great. Elist did a great job. I even look uncirc, and I like that. (The old implant was too rigid and a bit lopsided for me. Thus I asked Dr. Elist to remove it.) But this new one is right on target!

Uncle.
I was under the impression you had it removed due to infection.

Hi again, Guys: My dick is looking better and better with each passing day. I think (actually I hope) the implant eventually pulls on the penis enough to create more length. I'll keep you guys posted.

The lack of info about the new implant is actually doing the new implant a dis service especially if some one had the old and new versions and can compare the results.

The lack of info about the new implant is actually doing the new implant a dis service especially if some one had the old and new versions and can compare the results. There is a guy who is going to post his experience with the new implant, but doesn't want to do so until he's had it removed. I guess he's worried Elist my somehow realise it's him and refure to help him get it removed. The trouble with the Elist situation is that people have grown tierd of fighting against it. I and others used to post all the time warning people, but I never bother any more and nor does anyone else really. If you look on the yahoo surgical group there are reports of Gary Rhienchild removing Elist implants back in 2002. The guy simply wont give up and seems to think it's acceptable to keep testing new version on paying customers. As long as some are happy he seems okay with that. I said the other day that no matter how many times he tries to redesign it, it will never work for a high enough percentage of men. You can never get around the fact the penis is a dynamic organ and a silicone implant can't become vasculated. There is nothing he can ever do to change that. I think part of the problem is that people see the positive Elist stories and think it's worth taking a gamble and if it doesn't work out for them they can have it removed. But it isn't that simple. I actually suggested a sticky thread warning against the Elist implant to try and prevent this. Posters need to realise that this isn't like any of the other forms of penis enlargement surgery and belongs in a seperate categry. Dermal grafts, FFT, PMMA, PLGA and dermal matrix methods are completley different and guys need to be aware of this. You seem happy with yours and I know there are other success stories and think everyone should be free to make their own choices, but we really do need to highlight the very significant difference between a foreign body implant that wont become vasular and the other methods.

I am actually not very happy with mine, but like I mentioned before, I am very concerned that if I remove it, I may have significant erect length loss. So I am awaiting a better option. PMMA may be my next one. It is plastic right? So I do not think it vasculairzes like Belladerm/alloderm/FFT?
Quote from the first page of this thread:
"We only use polymethtylmethacrylate ( also known as PMMA), that is comprised by micro-spheres of SOLID PLASTIC and suspended in a water based, absorbable vehicle. The fact that the first one is an oil and that the second one is a solid plastic makes a complete difference, besides other technical characteristics of the highly studied, controlled and approved PMMA."
I am not defending the implant, I think it has some merits but as most people know its success rate is very low. Nevertheless, it is silicone and PMMA is Plastic so I have to reach the conclusion they both are foreign bodies, yes?
PMMA is not as hard from what I can understand, so it is less likely to cause pain and injury like silicone may.
I do hope in a few years we all will have some very solid options out there.
Can one have a lengthening surgery and then have PMMA afterward? I do not see why not but I expect reversing these two would not be advisable.

Collagen forms around PMMA and it allows ingrowth of fibrovascular tissue. Also it it isn't solid, but a gel, so the fact the penis is a dynamic organ isn't effected. Dermal matrix tissue is also foreign body, but again it becomes vascular as your own cells grow into it. With the implant, it's just a solid piece of silcone and tissue will simply encapsulate it. This isn't the same as what is happening with PMMA.
I thought you were happy with the implant? Sorry I haven't been following your story for a long time, so I'll read back through it.

So blood and tissue actually grows into the PMMA? And if removed, will there be any damage to anything, or the grown tissue and the PMMA come out together? I am looking into PMMA as one of the options, a larger girth is addictive. Once one has a bigger penis it is very difficult to go back to the original size especially if there is danger of loosing erect length
