@ E.P. So is it safe to assume that the red ball is in fact a granuloma? Don't really know what else it could be if the other "lumps" or "nodules" have subsided. EYC if I can remember right had the same thing. Don't want to start mass hysteria, just want to have a better understanding how to diagnos. And if in fact it is, how treatable it is short of surgery.

Fellas, not sure whether this question makes sense. With the PMMA procedure is there a risk of formation of a keloidal scar? I am asking this because my sister developed it on the arms after a surgery aimed at removing tricep fat. It looks awful. As you might know there is strong genetic tendency to develop keloids. I understand PMMA injections are NOT surgery, but still I'd want your opinion on this (if you have one). I gets keloids, but never from an injection.

Round 3, + 6 weeks: Orig. EG - 4.5 Circ EG - 5.7 Mid EG - 5.9 Base EG - 6.2 Measurements from morning erection. I have been using Magnum XL condoms. When very excited, the base is very tight. The slight redness at upper left edge, below glans, remains. Has not gotten worse or better. I will leave it be. Small seed-like internal hardness, bottom-side, below glans, no longer present. Top-side, below circa line, very tiny red ball in skin. Hardeness present. Spent $500 on on STD tests, negative. Also, I always use condoms. If continues, I wil have it cut out. Thanks for the update E.P.! I'll also take care of that transfer tonight. Do you know what the grand total amount of cc's were injected over the 3 sessions? Thanks. Rnd 1 - 19cc, throughout Rnd 2 - 14cc, mid to base Rnd 3 - 14cc, mid to base

I am only reporting what has been observed. I will have Dr. C make the diagnosis. The small ball is attached to skin. I can pinch it, and pull up with skin. Will report back with status. Other than that, everything is OK.

There was a post earlier (I believe in this thread) suggesting that vitamins for collagen formation would be a good idea to take for those of us having the PMMA procedure....I can't seem to find it...Would anybody be so kind to refer to this again? Thanks, MM

Actually I was thinking about that myself. What "nutrition" would help nourish and optimize collagen formation, if any. It's actually on a list of questions I plan to go over on with Wade.
Other questions include: How familiar is Dr. C with the variety of manual PE techniques and is there any reason certain methods (given their intensity) should be avoided? Sparticus sent me a PM (which I'll respond to in more depth when I get more quality time, sorry Sparticus!!) which brought up some interesting points about potential risks involved with intense manual PE, most specifically pumping.
I'll also ask about DHT, Pregnyl, and other hormonal candidates that may or may not be a good idea.
I'm sure there are other questions but I don't have them all in front of me at the moment.

New to the boards and very interested in PMMA. Is there a good resource for before and after pics? Also, is Doctor C the way to go? I'm sure I'll have more questions later. Oh and hello everybody

Oh and hello everybody Yes, there are several that have posted blogs. Links can be found in their respective Progress Reports. I'm sure you are aware of that pics have been removed (here), due to PB's subjective guidelines. I have started a PR, with many photos, at the new site. My plan is to have it ready when PB exodus takes place. S.O. will announce the day when site is ready. Cheers, EP

Hi EP,
Any updates from the doctor about the small ball?
Thanks, and good luck on your recovery.

Vitamin C and zinc are important for the formation of collagen. www.livestrong.com/article/375147-vitamins-minerals-that-aid-in-collagen-formation/It might be a good idea to take a multi-vitamin, extra vitamin C, and extra zinc a week or so before getting PMMA. But perhaps SO could ask Wade and Dr. C what they would recommend.

Regarding PMMA post operative care, I am wondering about the use of 99.9% pharmaceutical grade DMSO on the enhanced shaft prior to collagen buildup. The reason I mention this is because when I was researching the use of DMSO as a penetrating agent for DHT cream, I came across the following research paper which noted that it has an incidence on collagen formation: Revisiting Optical Clearing With Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO)Fig. 4. "Over the evaluated agent concentration range, DMSO exhibits a concentration-dependent inhibition of collagen selfassembly into fibrils."[/i] Would this possibly help the post PMMA collagen form in a more even and natural way without becoming fibrous or developing granules? Just wondering if others here might have a guess? It is a research paper on the application of DMSO for optical visualisation purposes using high power microscopes, unless I am totally clueless, so this means that they are viewing this property of DMSO affecting skin collagen in a very different light, so to speak, than we are. IDM is happy to share the message below with the brotherhood:
I'm mostly retired from the posting, my apologies to you and the entire forum for not updating you on my decision. In my case, I was faced w/ a decision to have at least to additional fft procedures OR look seriously look at pmma as an alternative, I did more research on pmma, and corresponded w/ DrCasavantes directly.
After having done that, I felt a sufficient level of assurance to proceed w/the pmma. I had 2 rounds staggered I believe, about 2 months apart and I'm very pleased w/the result. I will be returning for a 3rd treatment, probably late August or September to refine certain areas and ad a bit more volume. Its very exciting for sure to be so close to ones goal, a goal which I believed very realistic. Of course its always possible to overdue a good things and some will try I'm sure but Casavantes knows what he's doing and will tell men when enough is enough so to speak.
I must reiterate as stated in previous posts: if I had possessed by nature the starting stats of some of the men seeking pe, I would certainly leave well enough alone! There are different levels or 3 distinct categories of this stuff-1) the marginally average or those who can understandably use a some help, 2) the average guy who wants to feel a little better about himself, and 3) the above average guy who wants...? To be huge I suppose. I specualte the later category has more to do w/the individuals psychology than any potential partners sexual gratification.
I have a considerable amount of experience in this arena, and some are never content,,,this is a danger as pe can become an unhealthy obsession. Personally, I have one more round which will serve primarily as a refinement round and on w/life I go! I've already been doing that but I'm happy to put this chapter behind me and enjoy life as opposed to making this a lifelong hobby. I can honestly tell you that I wouldn't be happier w/8", than 7"...or w/9" instead of 8". I believe pe in its proper perspective can change lives (in the best case scenario for the better). But I think many men thing the size of the appendage between there legs makes them a man. Given one is healthy and w/in medically "normal" parameters, there's SO much more to it than that. I believe unhealthy obsessions need to be addressed ie:consulting w/professionals in the area of psychology not urology.
Note, I don't post pix, never have, never will. Though a few forum members knew of my decision to proceed w/the procedure, most did not and I frankly wanted to spare myself harassment for photos and criticism for not submitting, (as I was previously). But suffice to say, I'm very pleased w/the aesthetics and MOST importantly, the interventions I received, addressed a condition which was corrected...(A journey which took several years, several surgeries, sytretching AND pmma), but I can report that my concerns were methodically addressed, and as a result I'm in a good place emotionally as it pertains specifically to body image.

missed the final bit of IDM's message:
" ... If you'd kindly do me a favor, I'd appreciate it if you post this on my behalf. I feel I owe it to all of those here. In response to your earlier question- my concerns for potential complications associated were addressed, and I believe the risks are statistically low enough to make pmma a viable pe option...worth considering.
Good Luck to All-Take Good Care... "
