thanks everybody! it feels great knowing that i'm not in this alone. i had an erection this morning and let me just say "wow!" i couldn't put my fingers all the way around! it seems to have swelled unevenly. i belive this is due to me sitting after the procedure on the way back to the US. Dr. C didn't recommend a cock ring because he said i already had a nice hang and i had a couple entry points where the cock ring would have sat. if i could do this again i would spend a couple hours on my feet to prevent this. but all is well.

sorry for not posting erect pics. i've been holding off on that since my last entry point kept reopening every time i had an erection.

today i experienced itching. just a little bit. it's still swollen but i went and bought arnica pills yesterday and i've been taking them. can't wait to see the final result. it's getting smaller but this was to be expected. i haven't measured because i know it wont be accurate till it's less swollen.

if someone could let me know how to make a pic smaller pls let me know. i took a pre op erect but can't post cuz it's too big(wish that was true )

Thanks for the update Wisher, looking very nice. How does it feel ? I can see a slight indent where your thumb is, does that mean it's still soft ? Do you think most of the carrier is still there ?

thanks mikehok! it's still very squishy. the indent near the thumb is because it was semi erect. i'm still kind of itchy and swollen. oddly enough it's not swollen at the base, which is why it looks kind of like a lava lamp ;D each day it's looking better but i really hope it evens out. even if the base turns out thinner i can always fix that with 2nd round.

the entry points seemed to have closed up finally! it's crazy how all i think about now is my penis and i can already feel more confident. today is only day 4 and i think it'll be at least a few more days of my dick decreasing in size. i will say that it looks better in the erect state than in flaccid. if you guys have any more questions i'll be happy to answer.

The reason it's not swollen at the base, its because the skin isn't designed to stretch there. Shaft skin and pubic skin are different. Shaft skin is more compliant as we need it to expand in order to accomodate erections. Therefore when you swell, the fluid can force the stretchy shaft skin to balloon, as we can see in your photo's. But the tougher base skin isn't going to stretch much just because of a bit of fluid. Once the fluid from the swelling has gone it will even out. It won't be totally cylindrical as even PMMA will have trouble settling under the tougher base skin, but it wont look odd and you can have a bit more put in there later if needed.

It will always be slighlty more noticebale on guys such as yourself and moregirth who didn't have much inner skin left after being circumcised. By removing the inner skin, it drags the less compliant shaft skin a bit further up the shaft. Due to the swelling you currently have, we can see this very clearly as it really highlights the distinct line where the pubic skin and shaft skin meet about 1 inch from the base of you penis. A good thing about having the type of circ you've had is, is that it means you wont get the ring seen on some guys. As you don't have to deal with the PMMA trying to settle under the less compliant pink inner skin, as yours has been removed.

update day 5: swelling is still going down. it's starting to feel more like my penis everyday. as time passes the squishy feeling from the swelling goes away and the more familiar flaccid soft is returning. it's seems to be hanging heavier. i'll try to post a pic soon.

Thanks for the update Wisher, it's coming on well. I can see the swelling is going down nicely. I noticed a big difference on ghostfmj's between day 6 and day 10.

mikehok - thx! i looked at ghost's pics and did notice the difference. his didn't seem to balloon up like mine tho. i kinda got a corndog effect like moregirth's. wonder if this is due to us having more skin?

day 7 - every morning erection that i get keeps getting smaller. seems like swelling is still going down. it's still kinda bulging in the middle of the shaft. i'm hope this is swelling fluid and not product.

does anybody know at what day swelling generally stops and pmma starts building collagen?
(seemed like some did this at the 10 day mark, but other like ghost said it was done at 5 days)
