All,
It has been awhile since I posted last. I am now about 6 months post surgery and still doing well. Things I notice are:
1. Incision has moved lower towards base of penis. It has also healed much more and is a much skinnier scar.
2. I occasionally get very minor / very short (1-2 seconds) discomforts (maybe pain to others). It feels something like your arm or leg falling asleep - pins and needles type of sensation. This occurs near the glans on left side. This happens maybe once every 3-4 weeks. Probably something to do with stiches there. I don't think it is a big deal, but I mention it to provide as much detail / info as I can to the board here to help expand our collective knowledge on the procedure and longer term occurances.
3. When I am really flaccid a noticble bend in the implant sometimes develops about 3/4" below my glans. This is pretty easy to explain. I am at or near max "shrinkage" the implant is being bent as my shaft shrinks since it is stiched to it. Again, this is not a big deal to me. It happens only once in a great while, when I am pretty flaccid. It goes away as soon as I return to regular flaccid state.
My flaccid and erect stats are the same with no change from what I posted before.

It may be a good idea to wrap it when it is in cold which causes the penis to shrink too much. This will prevent the implant from bending and it will keep it tight on the penile shaft. I have the older stiffer implant and if it is too cold, it pushed against the glans and it hurts a little so I simply wrap it and that makes it warmer, hence less flaccid and it keeps the implant tight against the shaft. I am over a year now into it and I still wrap once in a while to keep the implant contoured around the shaft near the glans.

Hi all,
A quick update. I am now 7+ months since procedure. There is not much to say. I now have no sensations or discomforts. About all I can say that is noticeable is that my incision scar hasn't moved much since I last commented on it. The only other thing I can report on is how my penis has recovered.
Early on I reported a skin tearing sensation. Looking back this makes perfect sense. The implant stretched my skin and I had to grow new skin to accomodate it. Today I have much looser skin, no tearing sensation for a long time now. A fluid has slowly over time built up over the implant and under my skin. This is what I think is referred to as the "capsule". I also now have pronounced veins on the upper side of my penis. I didn't ever have those before, but had seen them in pics of others. It makes my look all the more natural now and I like the look.
I'm happy to answer any questions. My photo is on the Dr's web site now. I am willing to share which one it is if requested by email from members I know.
Intercourse continues to be really good for me and wife. We are both happy with the results.
Finally, thank you to everyone who has left a kind word on my thread. Much appreciated.
Wishing all of you the best,
RG

Hello all,
I just had my Dr.Elist Implant yesterday. I see that most of the posts on here are old so I want to give some new information and if anyone would like to communicate with me about my progress through this, I am willing to talk.
I am 33 years old. Italian America. Military guy.
Pre Op: (Flaccid) I was 12 cm long and around which is about 4.7 inches
Post Op: I have not measured because of the bandaging. But it looks like it is 7 inches long and 6 inches around. When I start doing the bandaging next week I will conduct accurate measurements.
I received the XL implant and it was cut to 8 inches for me. I am reading on this forum that people have complained about loss of length when erect. That is so difficult to believe. I just cant unnderstand how length could be lost if the implant is so long. he puts a mesh in so the implant doesnt back out. can anyone explain the loss of length?
My pain:
On the day of surgery I experienced almost no pain. I think the only pain I felt was the uncomfort from the bandage being abrasive on my penis. However, urinating the first 4 times was horrible. Stings. 5th time I urinated it was normal. Day 2. Today. I feel slight pain where they made the incision. Tolerable but annoying. I also went in this morning for the 24 hour follow up. They flush the drain tube and give u anti biotics and clean water. After that, I can now notice a feeling that I have a tube being fed down to my penis but there isn't pain. Its more psychological for me. I have a weak stomach.
My wife is here with me. I do not recommend trying this alone. Moving around the hotel room is very slow and it is nice to have someone caringfor u and getting food. U need to move only a little bit to promote circulation in ur body for healing, but mostly bed rest so the body can rest and recover. Have amino acids and protein drinks available as they will promote tissue repair.
Please reply with any questions or advice. And also if u know why people lose erect length, please share.

Hi, my name is Greg Bergman. I am a filmmaker making a film about sex and penis size. I am also considering the surgery. I have heard some bad things on here about Dr. Elist. But you are happy with the results?
I am also looking to interview some patients who have had it done. I'd love to speak to you if interested.
