UncleJJ! Happy to finally have you on board! Many of us here are incredibly interested in the new implant material, I hope you get the opportunity to share with us what you know regarding the details.
And if you don't mind telling us, did you get the implant stitched behind the glans or no?
And lastly, did you get fed up with MNS like everyone else here did? The site hardly works or loads correctly anymore!

Hi all,
Checking in again with some update. This week has seen a definite shift to normalcy. I have went much of the weekdays forgetting all about the implant - except to shift it around in my pants when walking around so I'm not too obvious LOL.
I have an appt next week and will share answers from my questions. For now, I believe I was stitched only behind the glans at top of implant and penis shaft. I have had zero problems there - no pain at any time post surgery. I do not feel the ridge just behind/below the glans unless I am trying to find it. My looser circumcision skin pads it pretty well. During erection my head grows large enough so the ridge won't be felt behind it.
Nighttime erections are less painful as my internal penis becomes more accustomed to the implant. I still feel it and wake up occasionally, but the pressure / discomfort is much less.
My questions will be 1)where was I stitched 2)does implant "float" within capsule once it is place, thus allowing implant to extend out as I become erect 3)is fluid build up in loose circumcision skin normal during healing, and 4)what exactly do I need to have happen and/or see before I am cleared for sex.
Finally, I want to share my theory about why I did not get length loss so far after surgery. I am a grower and went from 4 to 6.5 or 7 long before surgery. After surgery I am 5.5 or 6 in length flaccid, which is longer. No erect measurement yet - I want to wait until 5-6 weeks before do that as I think I will be healed enough that fuller erections can happen then. However, the implant can't shrink in length. So my guess is that the implant increased my flaccid length, and that I will only extend about 1" more when erect. This would explain why about 2" of the implant was placed recessed. It would allow 1" to extend during erection and keep it "anchored" internally in the recessed "zone".
So, my guess is that results will vary depending upon how much you naturally show or grow. My guess is that erection will be only about 1" more if 2" are recessed because that would allow the implant to stay anchored in the recessed zone.
I am interested to hear other thoughts on this and maybe things I didn't consider.

My understanding is that you are expected to receive some "flaccid" gains because you are no longer shrinking and it stretches your skin out beyond what your flaccid is normally used to sporting -- this flaccid gain is apparent in people who have lost erect length - have you had a 100% erection yet that you were able to determine whether you gained/lost any inches post-op?

S.O.
I agree with what you said about flaccid length. I have not yet had what I would call a full pain free erection yet so have not measured. I want to measure when I feel no pain. I think I will get a more accurate read then.
From what I have read from others, I expect my full length won't return until after 2 months, so I am expecting my first erection to be shorter than pre surgery. Thanks to these forums this won't freak me out. It helps to set my expectations lower and see what happens over a longer time period.
As for my progress, all is still going well. I have a visit to the Dr. this next week and will share what I find out on the questions I noted before.

Hey Guys, New too this site but was on MNS. When my post got removed I stopped the effort of communicating. RegGuy, I am interested in your story and will follow with mine and will keep on touch. For now will review this site...P.S i am about 1.25 yrs post testicle and 1 yr. implant. Implant = no losses in length, although no gain....Downfall - right side implant is too far (1/2") from meeting behind the head, this promotes an edge at the front of the implant. I have had complaints of discomfort and can only believe this is the problem. Will post pics. Testicles=Nice and large but too hard....Living with it...

Forgot too mention that the implant on the right side has very pronounced edges...See pics later...Any mention of the implant now having tapered/beveled edges?

welcome biglove, feel free to start your own thread when you upload pics. Edges with the implant have been an ongoing issue with the "older" version of the Elist implant, but there is no reports that the "new" model has it improved.

Happy New Year All, I have been doing well and wanted to give an update. As of today I am 6 weeks post surgery for my girth enhancement. I now have no pain at any time of day or night. It has been this way for about 2 weeks now. I had Dr visit and found out the following: 1. I have the new generation implant. 2. I was stitched only at top of implant just behind glans 3. I am still about 5.5 flacid length. 4. My erect length is 6.5, same as before surgery. 5. My flacid girth is 5.5" or 1.5" more than pre surgery 6. My erect girth is 6.5" or 1.5" more than pre surgery (6.7" at base, 6.5" mid shaft and 6.2" at top). I was cleared for intercourse 2 weeks ago. First time there was slight pain - but I think I was so worried about this that it may have been self induced. Since then, it has been pain free. I have heard Marknmau and other mention that it is addicting, and I find that to be true. A lot of fun. But, as Stalemango stated I now have to approach intercourse differently - it takes longer for penetration. It has made me focus more on foreplay to increase lubrication which will help make penetration easier. I can say very nice problems to have The "cap" has not formed as of last Dr. visit. I now understand that this is a combo of fluid/fiber that builds up over the end of the implant behind the glans. When formed it will "pad" the end of the implant, which will give it a more natural feel. I was told that this wouldn't fully form until about 6 months, so I will be patient on this. Right now this is not an issue for me - i don't have any sharp edges, etc, and when erect my head enlarges enough that it is not noticeable during intercourse. I can only speak for myself and my own experience, but truly I can say that my experience has been positive. I really think that a big key is that my expectations were not too high and I was able to relax and wait for results to happen, which they did. I welcome any comments or questions as always. I hope all are doing well and will do even better in 2011. RG

WOW, you had sex at about 4 weeks? and no length loss and no pain! that is great news. Must be the new implant and the Dr are on the right track for a better outcome. I do hope we hear from more patients reporting the same or similar outcome. Enjoy your new found size. A personal question, you may answer it by PM or here or not at all. Is anal sex (if you have that with your lady) doable? I have tried it with the implant a couple of months ago and it was very painful to me more than her. The glans would get pushed against the implant where the stitches are and create a lot of pain. If moderators feel this is an inappropriate question then exercise your powers
