@ep
100 pages doesn't include the many other pages, posts, and topics regarding all things phalloplasty in just over 6 months... great growth! MNS feels the heat, especially since we have no bottom-line here to worry about.

I wonder how they plan on offering PMMA when it's not available in the US?

It sounds like he is reffering people to Mexico. Obviously either Dr C or the other clinic. What's obviously happened is that he'd read this thread and is now an "expert" on PMMA and can therefore charge people $3000 instead of the $1500 Dr C charges. You pay an extra $1500 for him setting up the appointment. The Mexican clinics will say yes as Dan will give them $2000 of the $3000 he charges. In the end the Mexican clinics will just end up putting their prices up.
I think we should do some digging around and if it is confirmed that Dan is working with Dr C, all his past patients and possible future patients should contact him and put a stop to this arrangement. Surgical brokers have been ruining this industry for too long.

Hoddle: I agree. However, it was just a matter if time before some person/persons attempted to profit on this procedure. Sadly, it is all about greed.

I'll contact Dr. C's office tomorrow. I will strongly strongly recommend against using a referral/broker service on their behalf... I don't know Dan Salas personally but anyone involved in PE Commercialism is someone I simply cannot trust... just think of the industry.... bogus pills, shoddy procedures, and salesmen. Why oh why must any medical practice need external salesmen.
Again, I hope Dr. Casavantes's office strongly considers my consultation & advice (which of course, comes at no charge).

I'm incredibly irked about this recent news and I truly hope it does not involve Dr. C's office. If it does, I'm certain Dr. C and his office are completely oblivious to the industry/realm of phalloplasty. I need to communicate with them and I hope my non-commercial perspective holds some weight.
To those who care to keep this procedure taint-free, help me out. Those who have already had PMMA or are undergoing PMMA in the near future, please give this site and/or myself a vote of confidence to Dr. Casavantes so that perhaps my consultation with him (and Wade) will carry more weight. From what I hear, the doctor and his practice are great, I'd hate to see them be consulted by men that have been involved with the dirt and grime that has been phalloplasty! I hope I have earned the confidence of this forum, especially from PMMA patients to undertake what I deem as an important mission. Dr. C's office has never seen this kind of spike in their penis PMMA and the dollar signs could be quite alluring. I could reassure there are better approaches and marketing methods to undertake versus the employment of a broker/salesperson/shill.
Man am I really bothered by this. I really hope it doesn't involve Dr. C's office.

It's really angered me aswell. I've sent a PM to someone who knows Dan to find out more. But the prices he is charging suggest he has to be using one of the Mexican Drs. It's disgraceful what he is doing. He obviously has no knowledge about PMMA and has simply read the threads on here. Basically by reading this messageboard Dan feels he has sufficient knowledge to charge his patietns an extra $1500 so they can benefit from his "advice".
If enough guys go through Phallocare, then it's only a matter of time before the Mexican Dr's put their prices up for patients who go to them directly. I wouldn't be suprised if it turned out to be the other clinic in TJ. But they use a different type of PMMA called Precise and on makemeheal there are a few posters that have had problems with that product. At the end of the day this procedure is still very much experimental and Dan shouldn't be encouraging anyone to have it. He's trying to make money by encouraging guys to have a product injected in their penis's, of which he knows very little about. The guy clearly has no conscience.

If it is indeed Dr. C that Dan is working with, you might want to point out that he's advertising belladerm on his site at PMMA prices, so he's obviously pullng a bait-and-switch. And he's advertising the services of a physician with a questionable background. Is that who he wants to be associated with?
And as for Turtle, good riddance. He may be the creepiest person to ever post on this site. I'm picturing a 50 year-old man in a giant turtle costume who views himself the host of an imaginary kids show.
