Do you guys recommend pumping before clamping or after clamping? Which pumps do you recommend? I saw this site here and would like members' opinion on it: www.vacutech.com/products.asp?cat=12Thanks!

Pumping and Clamping is something I've given some study to though have only actually experienced pumping.
Given the dangers of penile damage if done improperly, it's best to research both (Thunders place has an excellent set of resources on both methods). My recommendation would be to start with a pump before clamping. While both pose risks if not done correctly, I feel that a well made pump at low to moderate pressure would be a good way to condition your penis to handle increased blood flow.
Pump first, clamping WAY later. just my 2 cents.

Have you guys found a recommendable pump?
Also, someone stated that pumping stretches the skin, can someone confirm this, either by personal experience or medical insight?

Hi-
An intelligent pumping regimen can be beneficial. Its important to start off gradually and warm up as you would for any other pe excercise (heat/bathing is good). Gradually build up the amount of time/pressure over a period of weeks, months.
You neednt spend a lot of money on a pump. Even Femal to male transgendered individuals who have had metoiioplasty (a procedure that creates an appearance of a penis), have had success in enlargment of tissue over time. You can pick one up for $20-$25.
I recommend a CLEAR cylinder so you can always observe what's going on. Make sure it has a quick release valve in case you feel discomfort.
Good Luck!

I plan to get the (very marketed) Bathmate once they introduce the smaller version. Their company representative told me they would eventually come out with one.
According to an insightful thread at Thundersplace, cylinder diameter is quite important so I'm going by what the expert pumpers know.
I have pumped in the past but was naive then and assumed my gains would come faster and more permanently and eventually gave up. I regret it, since I ended up throwing away what was about a $100 pump (no use keeping something around that I didn't use and that could ultimately embarrass me if found).
I have learned a lot about PE as well as penis physiology and have faith that pumping could be effective...if at the very least improving my skin's elasticity for future surgical augmentation.

True-i neglected to mention that- Cylinder's circumference is important. I'm not an expert on this but I was told that your "fit" is important. I have one that has a rubber sleeve type piece (maybe most have this) which make for a smaller opening-snug fit.

I've been using the Bathmate now for about a year. I have found it to be much more comfortable than some of the other pumps I've had. I don't know about others, but the air pumps always caused strange swelling in various places. I don't seem to have that problem with the Bathmate. The only issue I had with it was the comfort ring started coming off. Fixed that with some ShooGoo (waterproof rubber cement) and haven't had an issue since.
The first pump I ever bought was from Dr. Joel, cost me an arm and a leg. Now it collects dust in a box in the attic. Spent so much on it I can't bring myself to throw it away yet.
Just my two cents.

Guys, This is what one of our moderators, stillwantmore, wrote about the pumps he feels are the better ones out there on the market: "For reputable sellers of quality devices look at LA Pump (now at cockpump.com), PumpToys (don't let the name fool you, they're far from ''toys'' pumptoys.com), or Bostonpump (bostonpump.com) not to be confused with the inferior ''boston pump works''. Remember, you get what you pay for. A quality pump will have a lexan, or similar quality tube material. Also, get a hand pump with a gauge to monitor how much HG (vac) you are using. Whether wet or dry pumping, you want to go no higher than 2-4 HG for starters. There's forums online dedicated to this art of course. Many quality tubes can be had for $50-$100. The sellers almost always have a sizing chart...the ones listed above DO. There are other ''guide'' type posts in this forum, so I won't try and cover the other ''how tos''. For water pumping, you want a plastic or brass hand pump to avoid corrosion. OR, if you want to spend the extra $$ you can get a reservoir thing-a-ma-bobber, but I have no idea how those work, so you're on your own there." Source: www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?59008-For-Quality-Pumps-ReadPerhaps a pumping routine with clamping can help to achieve girth gains. I'm not the expert here and I would suggest consulting stillwantmore since he is more of an expert than I am.

Sheldon
I have a Kaplan pump. Bought it many years ago when he first started selling them. Spent a bunch of money on it at the time, about $400 if I remember correctly. It was way too much money for what it is. I would not buy from him again.

Thanks biggerbob. It seems like Mr. Joel Kaplan won't be making too many sales from this forum's members!
