Given the sheer size of the PMMA discussion over at the General Phalloplasty forum, I have decided to make a non-discussion themed thread here to post links to resources regarding PMMA (anything and everything related to it and its use in bioplasty). I'll start with a link I found on PMMA... The article on the PMMA complications seems to be somewhat incomplete. Is there an expanded version of this? I had thought that most of the PMMA complications I had read about before either had to do with bovine collagen (Artefill) being used or due to overfilling. Has anyone come across a study involving the New Plastic that Dr. C uses? I have not found anything to date.

Very good info, you're doing a lot of research which I appreciate. I read through all of these. Wow, lots of data and still seem to be some questions unanswered. I thought the study you linked in reply #4 was the the best I've seen to date. How do you find all of this??? I'm impressed, keep it up!
My overall read on this is that the PMMA that is injected with the bovine carrier and doctors using needles instead of the cannulas seem to account for the majority of the issues that have come to light with PMMA so far.
Anyone have other thoughts on this?
