Hi guys... I came across this forum yesterday. What a friendly and informative place! Hello to everyone from a newbie. I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong sub-forum - admins/mods, please move this thread if so. I'm very interested in getting the PMMA procedure done. However I'm just as eager to improve the size of my balls, and as I probably couldn't afford more than one trip (I'm in the UK, and a ticket to Mexico doesn't come cheap!), I was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere either in northern Mexico or southern California which offers testicular surgery? My reasoning being that I could kill two birds with one stone, go to Tijuana and then make my way over the border to Cali before coming home. Going on to Florida isn't really an option for me. I'm aware of Dr Elist, and to be honest I was all set on having the silicon implant in both my penis and balls, but having researched it all a bit more and having heard some of your stories I'm having second thoughts... especially as Dr Elist quoted $9000 just for the testicular enhancement alone. So does anyone know of a surgeon in southern California or northern Mexico who offers this? I haven't found any so far (apart from Elist). Either way, once again congrats on the forum, hope to chat with you all again soon

Hi-
Though a couple of doctors in The States perform "testicular enhancement", it is NOT advised by any competent doctor that I know personally, and I know many.
Providing you have two healthy testicles, there are several reasons that make this a bad idea. One is the fact that it makes detection of growths, ie:tumors (benign or cancerous) much more difficult to detect.
It's important to note that Doctors who Insert testicular implants for merely aesthetic purposes in otherwise healthy male patients, meaning:( natural born males) who have two healthy testicles, do so at their own risk and to the risk of the patient as these procedures are NOT approved by the Medical Association or any of the various associations of doctors practicing plastic/reconstructive surgery.
I encourage you to research thoroughly and I wish you good luck!

Hi idm, and thanks for the reply. I agree that it is very important to research any surgical procedure thoroughly, and I have been doing so (with regard to this particular procedure) for quite a long time now. I take the point about tumour detection. This is definitely a serious drawback. However, I'm not sure I buy the 'if it works and it's healthy, leave it alone' argument. Why stop with balls? Why should a healthy woman insert bags of silicon into her breasts, or a healthy man insert fat transplants or synthetic polymers (PMMA) into his cock? I think everyone here, due to the very nature of this forum, can relate to the desire to alter an area of their body which causes them to be insecure. Even if the testicular procedure is not approved by the medical association, neither is the PMMA procedure currently but judging by the length of the PMMA thread and its general positive content, nobody seems to have much of a problem with that. The fact is, I'm willing to take that risk, both with the testicular procedure and PMMA. Many thanks for your input, idm, I appreciate your taking the time to reply and give your opinion.

Has anyone asked about the possiblity of having testicular/scrotal augmentation using PMMA as a filler? It would likely work as a 'filler', even if the cosmetics were unusual...? kind of like a swollen scrotum, or even perhaps injecting in/near that fleshy material surrounding the actual testicle (to which Elist sews the implant). I was considering the elist prosthesis as well, but am now strongly dissuaded based on feedback from this site and others... not to mention the cost...

Interesting idea! Could any of the forum members here who have had the PMMA surgery comment on this? Do you think it might work?
Dr Elist's prices are extortionate, IMO. And once you've emailed his office, they never let you go... Someone called Tara just can't get enough of emailing me about my schlong, it seems ;D
