My thread moved from "THE DR" forum
Hi guys,
2 weeks ago I had a penis enlargement surgery using PLGA biodegradable scaffolds. I would like to share with you my experience. This forum has been very useful for me for the last couple of years, so now I would like to contribute to our increasing knowledge about this surgery. I will be happy to answer your questions.
A short summary
My Dr: Dr Miroslav Djordjevic from Serbia
Things done: Ligamentolysis, girth enhancement using PLGA scaffolds, webbing correction, circumcision
Cost: 4500 euro
For the last couple of years I've been searching for the best option for penis enlargement. My favourite method for the long time was and still is the use of PLGA scaffolds. I considered both teams from Serbia performing this surgery, Miro's and Sava's (now Sava's foundation led by Dr Djinovic). The difference in price was quite big:
Miro's: 4500 euro for girth + ligamentolysis if needed (and in my case circ and webbing), 1000 euro for fat pad liposuction (Dr Miro said that I don't need it) = total of 5500 euro for a "full" option
Sava's: 6500 euro for girth + 1000 euro for ligamentolysis + 1000 euro for liposuction= 8500 euro for a "full" option
So 3000 euro difference. However, my choice wasn't based on the price at all. I was ready to pay 8500 euro if I considered it a better option. I did not.
Why? I can not say a word about Dr Rados, his team, surgical skills etc., because I haven't met him. My choice was based on the easiness of contact. In case of Sava team you contact the case manager, whose behaviour was bad enough to stop considering them (PM me if you want details). Let's say that he could be more professional. If you are not from Serbia like myself it is quite important to have an easy access to your doctor.
In case of Miro's team, the thing was much easier. You have a direct contact with Miro and the members of his team. They don't answer immediately (except the anesthesiologist who was very quick and informative) but in the couple of days you should receive the answer to your email.

Part 2: Serbia
I spent a week in Belgrade at N hotel, which is very close to St Medica hospital. If your plan of staying is: arrive, have surgery, rest, fly back home, then this hotel is more than enough. If you plan to see something, then you are in a wrong place. The city centre is located a few miles (? more than 1,5h walk) from the hotel, but it's nice. From a castle you have a nice view on the new part of the city. Food there was also good.
People in Belgrade are TALL. Seriously. It was really hard to find an ugly woman, most of them are natural, slim and simply beautiful (and of course tall ).
9/10 people on the street answered in English when I asked them about the road and that was very nice. I would say that it was safe to walk around and see some places. However, I don't recommed to walk somewhere in the evening/night, cause you can meet groups of dogs and then you have to use your "dog whisperer" skills.
Scared of Serbia, Don't be! There's nothing to worry about.

Part 3: Hospital
Before I start this chapter I would like to add that I present here only my experience. You can find some other guys who also post here and weren't happy with PLGA, Miro etc., so consider everything. Maybe I won't be happy either, who knows! .
The place of my surgery was St Medica hospital st medica - opsta bolnica You can check the gallery. The hospital looks good. I guess that the building is pretty new. Everything seems sterile and clean. The rooms are colorful. They have a flat TV with roughly 50 channels, dvd player (so bring your movies), bathroom with shower and a wardrobe (a bathrobe and slippers having the same color as walls, nice design ).
Now a few words about the staff. Everybody seemed pretty nice, especially one nurse, who prepared me for the initial examination. She was smiling all the time. There's one thing, however, that I would improve. I would like all the staff members to speak perfect (not the accents obviously) English. I think they have many international patients, so everybody from the cleaner to doctors should speak English fluently. This was not the case (at least they weren't talking too much to me, thus my conclusion) it wasn't a problem in the end, but there might be situations when you need to ask/get the answer and it wouldn't be possible, so yeah if was the owner of that hospital I would send everybody on the language course to make them more confident in talking. Miro's team speaks English, so no worries about it.

All data were taken using "cm" measure.
BEFORE Flaccid non-bone pressed length: 2-2.36 inch (5-6 cm) girth: I am not sure about that, cause it was changing a lot, last number that I remember was 3,9 inch (10cm)
After 2 weeks Flaccid non-bone pressed length: 3,74 inch (9,5 cm) girth: 5,11 inch (13 cm) I have only one measurement for that.
I always measure my flaccid in the erect position (so parallel to the ground), hanging it is slightly longer.
BEFORE Erect length: 13-14 cm NBP, 17 cm BP girth: 12,5-13 cm middle, 14-15 base, I guess this depends on how strong my kegel muscle is
After 2 weeks Erect I haven't played with my small friend, so I didn't get a full erection that I could measure. The only erections that I have right now are those that occur naturally without me touching the penis. I measured once
length: not measured, cause I was in my bed and didn't want to get up (all Before measurements where taken when standing) girth: 13,5 cm middle, didn't measure base cause I had a webbing correction and I didn't want to touch that area. I have only one measurement for that.
The scaffolds are still hard, but from the overall apperance I doubt that anybody could say that I had a PE surgery (when they dissolve). The only scar that I have is the one from circumcision. Right now it's healing, so you can see that I was circumcised recently, because I have a swollen ring around my glans. Penis shaft looks natural, you can see all the veins as before, but it is slightly darker I would say.

I noticed your original post says "2 weeks ago" but if I'm not mistaken this might have been a thread you moved over from MNS? So maybe its been longer than 2 weeks ago or no? Just wondering since I'm curious to know how long you've been post-op.
Also, knowing what you know now, would you have gone back and done the same procedure all over again? If not, would there have been an alternative method you would have tried? The scaffolding idea actually sounds brilliant but at the moment I'm mostly restricted to U.S. options (only because I have no way of explaining a one week absence in Europe at this current time lol).

Right now I'm 4 weeks post-op and so far I'm satisfied. At the moment I can't recommend the procedure since the scaffolds are still hard, so I don't know what will be my final result.. maybe they will dissolve completely and I will be back to my initial stats... I simply don't know...
I haven't lost any length so far... The appearance is ok, except the circumcision line, so better be circumcised if you consider this surgery...
It's not the easiest of experiences that you can get in your life, but I would definitely do it again ...Because of the fact that I'm happy (once again mentioned: SO FAR) I wouldn't consider any other procedure...

Hi all.
I'm in Serbia now for the initial stage of my second girth enhancement. The first time yielded just a small gain, but a gain nevertheless, so I am going for a second try, this time having the scaffolds pre-treated with scrotal tissue.
Scaffold implantation will occur in 14-21 days. Will keep you all posted. Any questions in the meantime let me know.
Respecto, how is your recovery?

Not much to update... I feel good... and probably because of that I visit the forum less and less often... still waiting for the scaffolds to be degraded completely... though as I mentioned before they are soft now...
So far I didn't have any single complication after the surgery...

Awesome news! Zero complications this far out is definitely an accomplishment post-op! Please give us an update when the scaffolds are completely degraded with the official "final stats," if you don't mind And so I understand correctly - are these scaffolds giving you "additional" internal penis? Or some filler of collagen-type tissue?

Hello respecto and bonehead, Are you able to engage in intercourse yet and if so, did your equipment work to your expectations and what did your partners think? I think it is important to address the 'bedroom' functionality of all PE because face it guys, no guy gets PE just to show off in the locker room. A major reason why it is done is to please our partners in the bedroom.

And so I understand correctly - are these scaffolds giving you "additional" internal penis? Or some filler of collagen-type tissue? I don't really know what type of cells replaces it, but it's getting softer when flaccid and is as hard as before when erect... As for sex, I will wait few more weeks...
