Hi Irece, how long ago did you have the procedure?

@irece
Do not despair so quickly. Your erection problems may be resolvable. Right now it's imperative you follow all post-op protocols assigned to you by the doctor to ensure no other complications arise. 4 days is still pretty fresh off surgery.
You are amongst friends here irece. There are others here who have undergone surgery (including the Rosenthal procedure) and have reported both positive and negative things. Feel free to ask what questions you can and hopefully some of our members that have had similar issues can chime in.
Good luck! And be extra careful with the next few days of healing.
Did you mention this to Dr. Rosenthal?

@irece
It is imperative you obtain all medical records in this regard. Complications as a result of physician negligence isn't so easily covered by that waiver you signed and it is very important you are protected in the event that this complication is long-lasting and/or permanent. A member of ours by the name of Yardstick is currently considering legal action against Dr. Rosenthal for complications that arose from his procedure, you may want to get a hold of him to share notes.
I want to also remind you not to panic at this time. The erection issues may be resolvable (any damaged tissue COULD heal, you could obtain medication, etc). What's important is to be demanding of answers with Rosenthal and politely remind him of his obligation to disclose to you all things that may have gone right or wrong during your procedure.
Keep us in touch on your progress and status please, thanks, good luck.

Also, remember--your penis just went through a trauma of sorts (I'm talking about the surgery in general, not any mistakes that may have happened) It just might not be ready to "stand to attention." Everyone reacts differently, and just because you're not having erections doesn't necesarily mean that something went wrong-it just may be part of your healing process.

For those who are wondering who I was referring to by "Irece," it's the same as Ungrateful 1One.
@ungrateful
Ripple is right, the trauma may have your penis a bit reluctant to behave like normal. Give it some time, follow post-op protocol, and ask your doctor questions. You'll know more about your situation in a few days/weeks.

But then why is he saying that the Dr and his staff behaved as if something was wrong? Why would a Dr not tell his patient: you are OK, all is well, just give it a few days...and so on?

There's really no way of knowing what the doctor was thinking, we often misread situations based on reactions. Better to wait a couple of days for the evidence than to freak out now over the doctor's post-bedside matter.

@ungrateful Greedy1 aka Irece
I noticed you've chosen to delete your posts. I know his was a personal decision you made especially in trying times post-op. I hope you re-consider in the near or distant future to fill us in on your status/progress, since after all your penis may have simply required some rest and healing.
If what you are experiencing are in fact complications, remember that they can sometimes be resolved with medical intervention over time.
Regardless of what happens, just remember this forum is here specifically for stories like yours. You're amongst great company, and sometimes you need an anonymous outlet to express how you're coming along. Wish you the best of luck and hope to hear from you again.
(p.s. have you considered contacting other Rosenthal patients to get their takes? Yardstick, Soma, and Kingpin to name a few)
