I've always seen doctor recommendations of using an extender 8+ hours a day for months to a year after surgery, just to gain 0.5-1". Really? You can safely make that alone by using a hanger/extender and save the money, operation, worry, and scar. Has anyone here had gains of more than 1"? From reports on MOS and TP it looks like most guys are able to gain an inch with some dedication. I heard of a clinic in Thailand that's able to produce better gains, anyone have any info on that?

mrdeezyI also feel the same way about length surgery, though I suspect some may have benefited from it in the past. I personally think one could conceivably obtain those gains using the post-op regimen of 8hour + stretching without the actual "op" of length surgery. So why risk all the complications that go with it (which includes retraction) ?? I will say, however, if techniques are improved to reduce complication and some how guarantee length (much like how girth procedures can guarantee immediate girth), I would re-consider. idmyou had lengthening done correct? Could you chime in on whether it was worth it or not and if you have seen any gains from it in the erect state? thanks.

To my best knowledge (and I have never had any kind of procedure done) The lengthening surgery increases the potential of gains made by stretching. That's about it. I think some would agree with this.

Hi Guys,
I think Honested stated it perfectly. The ligament release makes the ligament less stable and due to this release lengthening, theoretically is supposed to be easier.
In my opinion, the release can be helpful. More so than stretching alone- maybe, maybe not. There are so many variables that I'm not willing to wager. People heal differently, some men might not start stretching soon enough and w/post op healing w/out stretching the ligament could reattach to exactly where it was before OR potentially contract shorter due to scar tissue formation.
All that said, I believe it could help increase lengthening potential, when everything is done correctly.
I had the release in combination w/other procedures. I do believe it helped to some extent,(as did the "other procedures"...lipo so on.
I definitely needed it, but if I had a penis of normal length, I wouldn't have bothered myself w/it. My honest opinion on pe surgery is that it is for those who have micro, small, or marginally average penises. My journey certainly was not fun. I think those who are average or better, should find better things to do w/themselves.
