As for Uncle JJ, I was curious and did review his assortment of posts.
A bulk of it was simply vague and general responses, many of them simply being one-liners like "thank you such and such for sharing info."
Details pertaining to his own procedure are far and few though he does occasionally explain whats up.
He has been invited here via thread and private message, but has never bothered to actually join the discussion here.
He's extremely active at MNS. I mean logged in almost all the times I have visited there. Why is he willing to deal with the crap over there!? Someone as active as Uncle JJ knows damn well all the BS that has gone down at MNS over the past few months and the reason for this site's creation.
Not accusing him of being involved with MNS, but its like he's the only thing even going on over there. I express disappointment because Uncle only legitimizes MNS to newcomers by continuing to post there. I strongly recommend members here PM everyone you know (who hasn't migrated over yet) and inform them of whats up.

It's working for me now but seems to only work when I reload the site multiple times... maybe its just server issues.

envision, if i were to decide to commit to this route (and I'd still have some additional consulting to do), it would likely be between February-March of next year.
I really wish we could find someone who has had it done...wonder if the doctor's office is willing to connect you with former patients like some doctors do here in the states. The one thing that needs to be answered that cannot possibly be answered accurately by the doc's office is how "it feels." There is no way the doc will tell you "its artificial so expect it to feel fake." Obviously I shouldn't complain since I'm in dire need of girth, but when I think of this PMMA gel I imagine something squishy and fluid, especially since they use it in other body parts that are typically soft (buttox, wrinkles, etc).
It'll be great when we hear back from both Dr. Runels and Dr. Casavantes

Actually if you want to re-create a thread regarding your matter/story you can do that too.

PMMA is slowly but surely climbing up my ladder of options...

He's responded to me that he would get back to me ASAP and I've sent him multiple emails... and he has promised them for us so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

and dog, rest assured I want everyone to be aware of the risks involved with the implant. I wouldn't be surprised if the rejection/removal rate was at 50% + but as Forum Admin I have a responsibility to fair discourse, that is all. I hope you understand where I am coming from. But I wont be deleting anything, I just hope everyone knows where I'm coming from - that we can discuss how many people we know who have had it removed and that is fine. But we have to be careful NOT to assert success rate(s) in a way that sounds like we have first-hand knowledge of the doctor's numbers. If you wish to continue this specific conversation with me you are more than welcome to PM/email me. Trust me, if I got my hands on any definitive figures on Elist removal rates, I'd be the first to publish them here. But for the sake of discussion, and for your story, I say we resume the original topic at hand ---------------------------------------------- Are you stretching right now to attempt regaining any of the loss length? Manual PE exercises have shown promise in regaining at least an inch or two (check out thundersplace dot com)

It is appropriate to say "70% of people I know have had the implant removed," rather than implying "70% of Elist's patients have had the implant removed." I think that's fair in that it demonstrates the seriousness of the risk while complying with forum rules.
Your post discussing specific numbers is all I ask for, as long as you are citing your figures and not asserting percentages as facts without hard evidence.

And as for returning to the original topic, I want to point out something you mentioned: Statistically, the positive outcome for this procedure is exceedingly low and unfortunately, the DR misleads you on statistics. While it is imperative you speak your mind and share your experiences, I must bring to your attention our forum rules found at phalloplasty.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=6Your statement suggests a certain statistic that hasn't been cited and certainly cannot be verified by simply stating it. Rule R7. states: Falsifying information about a surgical method's technique, effectiveness, side effects, and success rate(s) is wrong and unacceptable.I'm not accusing you of falsifying anything intentionally, but because of the fiasco over there at MNS I've been forced to bring to everyone's attention the importance of sharing accurate information in a world tainted with bias and distortion. While I wont delete that sentence or your post, I'm asking that you refrain from asserting the existence of statistics unless you can legitimately cite them. It is just as unfair for the doctor to tell us there is a "good chance" we'll succeed without any proof as it is for someone to anonymously suggest the chances are very low. I should also mention that at MNS some argued that the number of people reporting negative outcomes serves as a source behind these "low statistics," but in reality they are far from being legitimate sample sizes. This isn't a chastisement and I'm sure you were simply writing your post as it came naturally to you. I'm also not normally this nit-picky, but I wanted to remind everyone of the importance of how we go about discussing these (serious) matters. We all know how things got nasty over at MNS, and that is why I wrote out the forum rules as lawyerly-like as possible with every intention of enforcing them. Sorry for the long rant, and thanks for your understanding. --------------------------------------------------- If you don't mind sharing dog, what was your original erect length prior to losing the 3" ??

Oh and I should add that being a proboards forum gives us some added visibility on their end, and they will be introducing in a new version for this forum which will make it Google Webmaster Central compatible.

I have been working on promoting the visibility of this site, but not as intensely as I plan to do for the remaining part of December. I've been somewhat busy the past few weeks but I hope to have some major progress for the new Year.
As for google, Proboards is not quite compatible with Google's Webmaster Central tool (in the sense that I cannot manipulate or add things to the HTML of this site), but I have been learning about alternative routes to improve visibility to this site.
I've also began to link this site at other (more "crawlable") penis sites which in turn improve our visibility. Keep in mind this site is not even 3 months old (I don't think) and I suspect it will improve in its search engine visibility over time.
If you have any suggestions or advice on other things I can do to improve the site's visibility, please PM them or email (phalloboards@yahoo.com) to me, thanks!

They have virtually silenced me too. I submit posts and it reads something like "Requires moderator approval..." and it never actually gets posted - apparently MNS is not keen on me spreading the word that there is a more open & honest forum.
MNS is a joke and quite frankly I'm disappointed that some of the veterans over there haven't migrated over here yet, but thats their decision to make. By continuing to post there, it only legitimizes that site to newcomers. I think anyone here who still posts at MNS should include a link to this site any way that can and hope it somehow gets past the moderator. Maybe just referencing the site could help.
As for your situation dog, rest assured you can discuss your story here as long as they are within forum rules (found at the Feedback Forum). 3" loss in erect length? That sounds a bit extreme, sorry to hear that. Can you elaborate on why you had it removed in the first place?

Thanks for checking... and you can call me SO or S.O. for short if you'd like.
Two other questions if you don't mind (and if you haven't already inquired):
Is there a reason why PMMA was used as a filler over silicone gel?
---------
and a question for you envision: according to one of your posts you said you learned that PMMA has no reported cases of migration, would you be able to cite this for me from a source other than the doctor who performs the procedure? I only ask because silicone gel had reported incidents of migration and the two (silicone and pmma) share some similarities.
---------
thanks again for keeping us updated envision

My understanding is that a prosthesis pump is a surgical option for men experiencing impotence. As a matter of fact, I believe thats where Elist got his idea for using a silicone prosthesis for augmentation. You can google it and there is a variety of links regarding this option. Simply put, its similar to the Elist implant except the implant itself is inflatable and is attached to a small pump... depicted here: www.andrology.com/images/prosth1.jpgThat's as much as I know regarding surgical options to aid in erection.
