Thanks E.P. I'm also taking your advice and I'm going to lay here with my hand sanitizer and keep massaging. I've gained almost 1.5" but I'm attributing most of that to swelling. I only expect to have a solid 1" gain after the prescribed six weeks. With you being a veteran is this expectation too high in your opinion. I pose this question to everyone who has had this procedure as well.

You now have a better understanding as to why I am an advocate of resting and monitoring soon after procedure. If I am not mistaken, the Round 1 gains, after 6 weeks, has been around 1 inch. Skeptical One is the man for statistics, and I'm sure he will reiterate the numbers. Congrats!

S.o. he's used a total of 20cc. 20~30% mid shaft down to the base then 5% just before the glans. I explained to him I wanted the tapered look versus the tube due to the proportion of shaft to glans. It looks awesome and smooth! I will be going back for round 2 mid June after I heal up. I want to achieve a close to 7" girth while keeping it as normal looking as possible.
Thanks E.P. Your input and frequent post have played a major role in my decision to take the plunge. Your dedication is very admirable. What are your expected gains after round 3?

Your input and frequent post have played a major role in my decision to take the plunge. Your dedication is very admirable. What are your expected gains after round 3? Yesterday, I had a really nice erection going but could not find the measuring tape. Last week, I did measure, and my max girth was approx. 6.5 at base, tapering off towards top shaft to approx. 6". I believe it was reported in one of the threads. I'm not as big as my pics portray. Remember, my erect girth is originally 4.5. This is one reason for my decision to have procedure performed. I am not fond of posting stats during recovery because of girth fluctuations. It really does take 6 weeks + for final product. I can remember in the previous rounds, running around with a 6.5, and settling at approx 6.0. Of course, that is my experience. On the other hand, there have been some that maintained gains with little fluctuation throughout recovery. Now, you will have a better understanding of what I, and those before, have gone through. I certainly hope that you will continue reporting your progress. Best wishes on your recovery. EP

Congrats Batman! I agree with E.P it take 6 weeks to have your final results, after my first procedure I measured my girth at 7"erect and that went down to about 5.85-6.00 girth my second session I really didn't bruise that bad I'm at almost 4 weeks and I'm about 6.65-6.75 erect girth. I wanted 7" girth but if I stay at this I would be thrilled

I have asked Prof.Lemperle about his opinion about ( alloderm//beladerm//pmma)and the possibilty of infection :
1. Belladerm is the same as Alloderm ! : it may often fold in the penis like a harmonica (Dr. Elist removes Alloderm almost each week !) and is most difficult to remove ! The company rather warns from putting Alloderm in the penis. So better forget it. 2. PMMA is approved as ArteFill in the US and worldwide for facial wrinkles - however, it is very expensive (around $700/ml to the patient) - so Dr. Casavantes buys it in Brazil (NewPlastic, which is not as pure as ArteFill) and charges about $ 150/ml (??) 3. There was never an infection with PMMA but there were some granulomas. The tremendous amount of macrophages will not allow an infection of particulate injectables ! (however, Bio-Alcamid, a silicone-like gel often gets infected (because of a lack of macrophages) 4. PMMA is as difficult to remove as Alloderm/Belladerm, because both stimulate the ingrowth of tissue .

Batman So far, so good; I'm very happy for you! It seems that everybody's on a learning curve with PMMA (including perhaps the doctor), and it's great that we have (PMMA)veterans here willing to put the time and effort on this site to advise...And Guys smart enough to take the advice... Great stuff!

Good luck to you.
I have contacted Dr. Casavantes (wade) and discussed removing my implant and then having pmma added. Their site recommends a month of healing (last time I checked) but he recommended two months wait period. He also informed me that they already had some post-implant patients who had pmma done with good success so this is very good news. I am at this point debating a lig cut after removal or no lig cut and just go for pmma when the time is right, what do you guys think?

If you go for lig cutting make sure you do it before PMMA, as you really don't want surgery in that area after PMMA, as infection could be a disaster. Personally though, if I were you, I'd keep the implant unless you've got real problems with it. In a year or two we'll have alot better idea of real PMMA complication rates. I think it's inevitable that we'll see some complications, but hopefully at a much lower rate than the other available procedures. If you don't totally hate the implant, then maybe it's best to leave it for a while. You've had it for a while now and I seem to remember you are married, so it's not like you need to get anything done before you can move on in life, as is the case with many of us.

I have had it for over a year now and there is pain behind the glans when having sex and there are a few other problems like erect length loss. I am not married, and some women I have been with can tell there is something there due to its hardness all the time. I am hoping pmma will be better.
I have also been thinking about keeping it, as suggeted, to see if there will be better options in a year or so especially for length. But I am concerned that the longer I keep it, the more scar tissue develops, so I feel like being in a catch 22!
I am talking to some people and I am still carefully considering all of my options but it is always good to bounce it off of you guys.

I am talking to some people and I am still carefully considering all of my options but it is always good to bounce it off of you guys. That changes my opinion. For some reason I thought you were married. I couldn't stand the idea of women thinking I'd had something done. I couldn't enjoy sex for years as I was embarrassed about the lumps of fat in my penis form FFT. I don't mind the scars so much as you can come up with excuses for those, but any detectable implant would be too much for me. I wouldn't be able to sleep after sex, as I'd be stressed she'd touch my flaccid penis and detect the implant. If you are a married man and your wife knows that you've had it done and it's all out in the open, then it's a totally different situation.
