The world of phalloplasty is 75% business, 25% medicine. Some would even argue a greater imbalance in favor of the mighty dollar.
With this being said, all past, present, and future forums on the subject matter will always be vulnerable to the taint of "interest groups." Some of these "interest groups," are doctors...others are business affiliates of doctors...and some even include patients who are so disgruntled that their only objective is to pursue a vendetta.
For these reasons, Thunder's Place, PEGym, and other penis forums have made it simple on themselves by shunning all advocates of penis surgery. That's why they are mostly stable and successful forums. PhalloBoards, however, does not enjoy this luxury. We are a message board designed solely for the purpose of surgical augmentation of the penis and all the baggage that comes with it.
So with that being said, I am making a plea to all of the PhalloBoard members to have some understanding with all my future decisions as Administrator. It is my duty not only to uphold forum rules, but to ensure a quality discussion forum. In order to do this, I may have to make tough decisions but rest assured it is done with fairness in mind.
I'd also like to add that continued bickering, cursing, and accusing of one another is inappropriate and should be handled via PM or email. This isn't kindergarten and we aren't playing in a sandbox.
Regular members are welcome to PM me if there are any issues and refrain from making them public. Moderators can PM me or post relevant threads at the Mod's Island forum.
I want to stress once more the importance of this forum. There are far and few message boards so specifically devoted to phalloplasty on the web. With the fall of MNS, and the improvements in surgical techniques, I feel that this forum will only grow in its importance over time. But in order to nurture growth, this forum MUST be credible, mature, and engaging.
phalloplasty.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=6 A review of the forum rules.
Thanks.
