DAMNIT! There are advertisement banners now. My guess is you get one month free w/out ads... or something like that. There is an ad-free option but it costs $$ and at this point I will refrain from having PhalloBoards involved as an "owned" entity (in monetary terms).
I dreaded the day this would happen, but it is here now. *NOTE* These are proboard.com ads, not ads that I or this forum endorses. They place the ads here so that I can make this site at no cost.
Good news is that its only one banner ad at a time, so I hope we can all live with it for now.

p.s. I was browsing other proboards.com forums and noticed they all have banner ads. apparently its part of keeping this site free for us.

I've also noticed that the video attachment in the Surgical-Methods (RESOURCE ONLY) forum of Elist's procedure also has an advertisement banner next to it please pardon PhalloBoards for these inconveniences, I hope thats the extent of advertising on this site.

Skeptical One, Personally for me I don't even notice the ads and if this is necessary in order to have a free, uncensored forum than i'm all for it.

Agree! as long as the ads do not block us from viewing the posts before one reads the ads and then they allow one to read the posts....

Yea as far as I know mustang, the ads don't appear to be that prohibitive of the actual threads/posts. And just so you all know - as long as random proboard.com sponsored advertisements appear here, it implies that no single person actually owns the "site's domain." This is because if I were to upgrade phalloplasty.proboards.com by purchasing it, it removes all ads (you can test this out by starting any basic forum to test what I mean). So ad banners are ironically a good thing in some ways haha.
