Soma, how long do you plan on stretching? It has been one of my theories that having some of your ligs cut in a lengthening procedure would lead to better gains due to more tension on the remaining ligs. You have the photos to backup what you're saying, so it looks like you're on the right track. What is you length goal?
Question for the other members; Has anyone else done this? If so, what were/are the results? Has anyone done a lengthening procedure by itself?
It seems that a lot of guys have had the opposite happen and lost length from what I have read previously.

Bob,
My length goal is 8 inches non bone pressed (and whatever that looks like bone pressed...prob 8.5bpel), so one more inch and I plan on hanging for at least one year. That said, I may opt for an additional girth surgery next fall (hoping to get 7+ girth) and will have to take 6 weeks off to heal. I'll keep hanging as long as I'm making gains~

Hey Soma,
i had length and girth with belloderm about a year and and a couple of months ago. How much erect girth did you gain? and have u stretched to the point where u can feel where the belladerm ends, cause i have. It not noticable for other ppl but i have definitly stretched to that point.. im curious about your progress, but from your pics things look good. Im also considering getting a 2nd girth procedure done at some point in the future...

I read a while ago that it's good to keep stretching post op, as when alloderm become vascular it tend to slightly shrink length wise. This is why Rosenthal has had problem with a noticeable gap at the top. When he puts it in, it goes right upto the head, but six months later there is often a litte gap, as it's slighlty shrunk. The same thing can happen at the bottom, only it's only noticeable to the patient as it isn't visually obvious. It happened to me with my PLGA scaffolds. When I first had them in, they went deep to the pubic bone, but as they became vascular, they end of the bottom scaffold stopped about 1cm above the pubic bone.

I hang an hour a day with the Grip system as stated in that long thread I brought over from TP.
King, originally gained 1 inch mid and 1 1/4 at the base. Mid shaft has gone down to .75 but the base has stayed the same.
Original length 6.75 bpel Original mseg 5 current length 7.1 bpel current mseg 5.75
I think I compressed the graft by wearing a too tight all day hanger. No longer using it and starting to pump low pressure to attempt to "re-inflate" the graft. I'm not sure if it'll work but I'm gonna try.
King, yes I have stretched to the point I can feel the end of the graft, and I'm glad cuz I've realized erect gains, something contested in many forums. However, I'm also considering another surgery to get to 7 mseg, lofty goal eh.
How much did you gain girthwise, and have you gotten length gains?

Hoddle: i dont think the graft shrunk much in my case, because the very small gap at the head has been the same right from the day after surgery til now. i did stretch religiously for 4-5 months post surgery but i got lazy after that.
I gained about .7 in erect girth and about the same in erect length (maybe slightly less in length). I think i will start stretching again if i buy the bib hanger. I find the grip system is wayyy to annoying to set up everytime u wanna hang and it slips at heavy weights!!
Soma: are u hanging 13lbs with the grip system? are you having any slippage issues at that weight? and Soma your pre op and post op stats are basically identical to mine. You are like my penis twin LOL

King,
Glad to hear your haven't experienced any more loss (seeing as we have twin cocks lol!), and I agree that the "gap" has been consistant since post op. I discussed a second surgery with Dr R and he says the additional layer (s) of Bella will close the gap, both on the side and where it ends toward the base. This results from being able to use the bigger sized bella; he says the sheets come in two different sizes, and now that I'll be longer he can use the longer (and pricier sheet). It makes sense if you think about the geometry of it all~
As for hanging, yes I can hang 13 with no slippage. I'm using an xlarge sleeve and just the large hanger. It fits in there kinda tight (the sleeve in the hanger), and is really comfortable for me. When I was using the xlarge hanger I had some slippage.

Soma: im also thinking about getting a 2nd girth surgery at some point. When u talked to Dr.R about the pricier larger belladerm, did he give you a price? did he say it would be more expenive than the first surgery?

King,
I never got an estimate from Dr R. He told me to send him pic's with measurements and he would give me a quote. I imagine it has to be a little cheaper as I'm not getting the ligs snipped again, but then again if the sheet cost more it might be a wash. I'm still six months away from being ready; he wants one year post op, so I haven't sent pic's yet~

Soma, do you think your gains in length could be due to a change in measurement style? Also, I've seen pics of guys with lig cuts and their erection points more down, most physicians state that this downward angle is what gives the "illusion" of more length, do you think that may be some of your length increase?

Spart,
I've been a PE'r (hanging mostly...original BIB prototype person)for a decade amigo prior to the snip, and I've read all the myths (you can research me on TP or the message board that preceeded TP). However, the truth is my erection angle hasn't changed at all, and when I tell I've gained it's based on 90 degree bone press pulls, and 90 degree bone pressed erect (yes I have to push it down to 90 when erect).
I havn't gain a full inch yet, but I am on trend to and will keep everybody posted with pics along the way. I know it's long, but read the thread I transposed from TP and you understand where I am coming from.
