I've made the decision: I am going to get it in six to eight months. I currently have a NBPEL that hovers around 4.4, and I would really like to get to around 4.75 to be closer to 5 than 4. I've been stretching for a while but haven't had success, though I firmly believe that guys out there do benefit from stretching.
The plan is to get down to 8-10 percent body fat and then have the procedure. This thread is going to serve as my progress thread both in losing weight and in documenting the procedure. Moderators, if this should go in a different area, please move it or let me know.
Right now I am really on the fence about taking pictures and posting them in a public forum. I know that guys can benefit from seeing before and after pictuers, so I am leaning toward taking pictures and the emailing the before and after shots to those who request them. I may reconsider this in the future and just post them publicly.

Also, I am going to see if Dr. C does liposuction at all. If so, it may be worth a trial run to check his bedside manor and determine whether I am happy with the results. If anyone knows the best way to get hold of him let me know (whether he responds better to email for example).

It is a surgical progress report so the thread here is fine I look forward to keeping up, I am strongly considering fatpad liposuction too for some NBPEL gains.

Skatezy - You are on the correct path to improving your health. I'm confident that you will lower your body fat by managing your eating habits and exercising. Be tenacious. Good luck.

Thanks, G Tiger, and everyone else, for the words of encouragement. I am going to update this thread about once a month when I get my body fat measured.
This past month, I went from 25% body fat to 23%. A long way to go from here, but at least I am heading in the right direction! Like I said earlier, the plan is to get to 8 percent and then have the liposuction. Eating has been good (not great, but good). Same with cardio. I'm pleased with the two percent drop this month and my goal is to shoot for another two percent this month.

The last week has been really good with both diet and exercising. Unfortunately, today, I skipped a meal because work was really busy, and then I just felt a craving to eat fast food so I had Taco Bell. My NBPEL has not really changed unfortunately, but I can't really expect it to right now. My hope is to get to 4.5 NBPEL at 8 percent body fat, and then get .25 from the liposuction.
I am then considering PMMA after that.

Yeah! Just measured and I am down to 21 percent body fat -- now I've dropped 6 percentage points in the last three months. On my way to 8 percent...

Has anybody actually had this procedure done? I'm in shape but used to be overweight. I'm just over 6 nbpel. Bpel is over 7 and the sides of my base is where alot of the fat is. I lost 60 pounds( I'm only 5'9)and wanna know if I get fat pad lipo would it make a difference ? When I sit down my penis becomes engulfed in fat and skin. I'm ok with my length but with the fat and turkey neck it def looks smaller than what it is. Would this procedure help???

dd72I think someone (or two) has had it done on Thundersplace if I'm not mistaken, but I don't recall who. If you have an account there try using the Search function...from what I can recall those who reported having it done seemed satisfied.

dd72I believe hoddle had the procedure and gained approximately .2 inches, but you might want to ask him. I have a post on it up at thundersplace, so you can check that out (my username is the same here as over there). Also, the doctor I consulted said that about half of the fat pad is actually fat which can be removed and the other half is skin which you couldn't really do anything about. I hope that helps. I think others may have gained more but I'm not sure, I plan to get this done sometime, but finances and time are a little shaky right now.

Skatzey do you know how much it costs?

I believe the cost was $3500. Steep, but that was from what seemed like an A+ surgeon in a big metropolis.

Since this thread was recently updated I thought I'd give you all an update on my progress. Unfortunately, at my last weigh in and measurement, I was at 22 percent body fat -- a gain of one percent. My goal is to kick up the cardio intensively and stick with my eating schedule and try to get to 18 percent by the end of July, putting me ten percent away from my goal of 8 percent.
I'll keep you all posted.

@ skatezy777
I recently lost 10 lbs a week drastically reducing food intake and taking 100mg to 200mg of Amerifit DHEA bought for cheap at Walmart. Make sure you're in good health first, and only move up doses progressively if no bad reactions ensue. If you're young, you'll want to avoid taking too high a dose. A study in Chicago showed people losing a lot of weight with doses under medical supervision taken all the way up to 1400mg /day. The usual recommended daily dose for long term use is 50mg.
Mind you I'm not encouraging you or anyone else to take that product. I tried other brands but they didn't agree with me. This $8 / bottle pills from Amerifit are taken solely from Goyave stem extract and thus it isn't like other brands of DHEA synthesized from steroids. Also you have to make sure your liver is good and ensure you don't get too moody on it. I stopped after a few weeks. If you take a lot over time you'll need to consider taking an estrogen inhibitor or suicide agent, I'm doing Formatrol until my natural testosterone production kicks back in.

If anyone knows the best way to get hold of him let me know (whether he responds better to email for example). Actually I think he refers lipo patients to his colleage Dr Camacho-Melo who is a plastic surgeon in the same building who uses ultrasound lipposuxion equipment. This can probably be combined with a PMMA series of injections. HC
