I’m 11 days post op with the Elist implant. I had the length and the width surgery. I have been on these sites for many years and have had mixed emotions with all of the options available us today. I made the decision to go with Elist last year when MJ had the procedure. Followed his thread as well as others religiously; mj, mojondo, mark, mustang, mango, uncle and others I may not have mentioned. I have recently (Pre op) been a real pain in the ass to the staff at Elist office trying to overturn every stone. I decided to go ahead with the surgery because I felt satisfied with my investigations and from the many people I spoke with who had the surgery. I tried to get as much info from recent patients who had the procedure (mns) recently and was told that I should make my own decision. I agree with this statement. I proceeded knowing that there may be complications and I was/am willing to except the risk. Thank You all for the information and personal experiences you provided, good and bad.

My surgery was 8:00 am; I arrived at the surgery center an hour earlier. I was struck by the size of the facility, it was much smaller than I expected. They had just opened when I arrived. All the ladies were very gracious and helpful. After paperwork and some time I was brought to the prep room to change and wait for the surgery staff. I had a chance to poke around the room and was presently surprised with the cleanliness of everything, I know this is to be expected, however I have been freaked with the thought of getting an infection, I looked at everything. I met the Nurse, the anesthesiologist, and noticed a few others when I got to the OR, again, small but well equipped. Dr. Elist arrived as I was getting stuck for the IV, It was 8:15, the last thing I remember. I awoke at around 11, not positive of the time. Remarkably I felt great, the drugs are amazing. I was assigned a nice girl probably late twenties to stay with me till I was released. I was awake for an hour before being released; still know pain. I had to piss before they would release me and I had know problem there, remarkably I was not embarrassed with this girl watching and guiding me while relieving myself, very professional. A member of the hotel staff picked me up; I felt good at the moment and asked him to stop at 7-11 for coffee, what was I thinking. I experienced little pain for at least 14 hours, foolishly I didn’t take the pain pills and I would pay dearly for this misstep. The pain I experienced was unrelenting. This went on till the meds kicked in which only took the edge off. I emptied the drain and noticed a huge clot; I called the office and was instructed that everything would be taken care of tomorrow and not to worry. I managed to get to Elist office and waited for at least a half hour, a very busy office. My discomfort was while sitting, I had a real hard time and still do a little today. Dr. Elist arrived and we spoke as I dropped my sweats and he unwrapped. My dick was much bigger than I expected and not black and blue, I expected it to look like it had been in a war. He moved my penis freely front and back and to the side, this hurt like hell and was coming off the seat. The next thing that happened was the most extreme pain I had felt in my life to date. My drain was flushed out due to the clot the day before; I didn’t have the strength to ask. Water and saline was inserted and drawn, followed saline, followed by peroxide_mother fucker-I nearly passed out, if I had eaten I would have thrown up. Peroxide was followed by two rounds of saline, this was so refreshing. The pain only lasted about twenty seconds but felt like a lifetime. I was so messed up I stayed in the room for at least a half hour to collect myself. On a positive note Dr. Elist was able to retrieve several clots from my package. As it turned out, the flush of the area actually helped with the fluid draining. My fluid was clear with a slight tint of red. As it turns out this was a good thing and he informed me that I would have my drain removed before I left California, and I would have very little drainage or swelling; this was true. My output on the third day was 12 in twelve hours and Dr. Elist said a portion of this was from the flush. Dr. elist arrived at the Hotel around 8:00 pm and removed the drain, he said everything looked great. I proceeded to travel the next morning, which took all day, this sucked. I made it home and rested as much as I could. The discomfort from these types of surgery is terrible. The nighttime erections didn’t really hit me till day four, they totally suck and do make it tough to sleep. As of today things are going well. Still have pain but greatly reduced and more manageable. I’ll continue to post.
I apologize for the long ramble. If anybody has any questions I will try to answer. I plan to cut and past this on the new site as well.
I did take before photos and will post soon, I need to forward soon photos to the Dr.

oh and do you have post-op measurements? I'd imagine there is a change in girth at the very least from what I can tell with the photos.

Skepticalone Things are going great, Everything is much more manageable. I did gain immediate girth and flacid length. The girth is a little over 5 inches flaccid, huge for me, I really love it. I'll keep posting.

Hey ck62498,
I had a few questions.
Did you get to handle the implant material pre op? If so, anything worth mentioning such as; how were the edges....where the beveled? How flexible did the material seem?
Do you know what size implant you have?
Did you ask about how the implant was attached to you? As of now there seems to be two methods with a third one I've read about from one member on the MNS forum.
- The most common is having the implant itself stitched near/behind the glans. - The one MarknMau got was no stitching which allowed the implant flow naturally with gravity. - The third, from a member named Junior on the MNS forum, is to have a mesh "catcher" stitched at the head and not stitch the implant but allow it to fall such as in Mark's case and then the mesh would catch/contain the implant behind the glans area.
Did Elist offer to make a custom fit implant? In the youtube video and from past members talking to about their experiences it seems that Elist cuts the implant during the surgery which to me seems quite unsafe for a number of reasons. It causes the implant to have edges which seems to hinder the healing process as well as from what I've read online cutting a solid silicone implant increases chances for infection.
I had sent him an email/message suggesting using a mold of a patients erect penis as well as stats in during flaccid and erect to make a custom implant. He seemed very open to the idea and I'm hoping it becomes standard procedure for him. I don't think it would delay anything and would only require just a little bit more work on his part to order custom implants.
Sorry for all of the questions but like you, I am trying to get as much information as possible.
Thanks, stormy

Stormy - I have the elist implant and was given the prothesis to feel beforehand which actually had a nice malleable feel - except now with it in it feels rock hard with edges! Two comments about the magazine article featured here about Dr Elist - one, in one image it looks like the head of the penis is almost completely severed still attached no doubt to the main artery but hanging off! Is this my eyesight? In another, the rods he holds up (the implant) look stiff and plastic which would explain what really is in my dick. I asked Soldier77 whether having had this removed he had it as a souvenir, more to the point to confirm that what he had in his hand before surgery was what was wrapped round his dick. he did not answer this point possibly because he did not keep the souvenir.

Stormy, I'll try and answer you questions.
I did see the implant and I would describe it as one piece, larger at the base and tapers at the tip. It was not hard and it was without edges. The large size worked best for me.
We did discuss my erect length buy not anything about a custom fit.
The implant feels very good, I felt a small bump on the second day and after wrapping it went away. At the moment I have no sharp edges. I can feel where the implant ends on the shaft but more subtle as time goes by.
Over all i'm real happy to date, The pain is reduced slight discomfort during the day in certain positions and the night time erections.
As far as the stitching, there was discussion about it being stitched at the gland as well as mesh, so i'll have to ask about the proper mechanics.
I'll keep posting.
