I remember seeing Silicon Disaster's pictures, his results were probably the worst I've ever seen from any type of Phalloplasty surgery. It looked to me like 30-40% of his penile skin died. Was he really able to recover any of his size from erections/training? I lost touch with him back in 2009, but I honestly thought he had no hope of having a normal penis again after seeing the nightmare he was left with. I certainly hope what happened to Silicon Disaster doesn't happen to mrstone! That would be a shame... 8ball, if you are in contact with Silicon Disaster, could you tell him about his forum and tell him he would be most welcome to join it. Thanks. Sure. I haven't emailed him since 2009, so I don't know if my emails will reach him, but I will try.

Hey Stone, so how do you like it so far? Do you think it is very noticealbe? Is it natural feeling? I had mine removed a year ago, and I was just wondering about the improvements Elist has possibly made.

So far everything is going the way the Dr said it would go, you can still see the feel the line under my dick where the implant is but you cant see it any more. The DR said that by week 12 I should barely be able to detect the implant when I am soft, and I will not be able to detect it at all when I am hard. How long did you have yours in for?

9 weeks for me, maybe I was to hasty. I cant believe I am actually thinking of getting another one. But the way I am now, anything would be better. Also, there seems to be more success rates now.

I dont know your story to well, why did you have the implant removed and what happened as a result. I do know that a few of the guys that the Dr put me in contact with had the surgery 2 times. They all had his new impant and they all loved it.

I just thought it was to noticable, and I could easily feel the implant in the flaccid state. I was getting alittle freaked out, and asked the DR to remove it. I do not totally regret it, but for this whole past year, I have been not having much sex, and my penis is way different than what is was before. I have scar tissue, and it is smaller in the erect state. However, Elist said he can remove the scar tissue and put in a new implant. And so did Dr Alter, but I dont know what I Should do at this point.

Allofme2 had the new implant put in after having the same issue's with the old implant. He then had the new one removed for the same reasons. Because the implant can't become vascular there isn't much that can be done to improve detectablity issues. If they make is too soft, it will feel unnatural erect and if they make it hard enough to feel normal erect it will be noticeable when flaccid. The whole concept is flawed. The penis is a dynamic organ and unless the material used is both pliable and can become vascular it wont be able to be "normal". Encapsulation and the issues I've mentioned our why no other surgeon uses solid silicone. It's been around for years and is the most popular implant material int he world, yet no surgeon uses it for PE and for good reason, as you've already found out once. If you are in a relationship and your partner knows what is going on, then maybe it's something worth considering. But if you are worried about women thinking you have a fake dick, then I don't think the implant is a good idea.

Any Elist people care to share their stories here?
Any Elist people having buyers' remorse about getting the implant instead of another girth enhancement?
Wish everyone well.

I think we all agree that if we knew about the success of PMMA a year or two ago, almost every one would have gone the pmma route not the implant, ballederm, alloderm or fft...
I will share more info with you in a few weeks. I hope Mark and other implant people are still around and are not afraid to speak their minds.

Hey everyone. I'm an old MNS lurker and have followed the board here since it's inception. Elist has always been the surgeon that I lean towards(i'm next door to Beverly Hills), but it has always been upsetting to notice how he uses forums to advertise. It leaves us guys who are actually trying to get good information having to weigh the validity of posters. I was very happy when these forums came about. But it looks like Elist still has made his way onto these boards. Classic Elist shill is the "i got the surgery but I think my dick's TOO BIG! I'm having second thoughts cuz of this new HUGE DICk is just TOO BIG!" or the "write me for techniques on how to have sex because it is DEFINITELY different when your dick's THIS BIG!"
I don't want to make legitimate patients afraid to share their TRUE experiences. But I also want to let other lurkers and posters know that they should be wary of Elist testimonials. They are a big part of his marketing which is unfortunate for people trying to get info. Look for before and after pics(not just 2 weeks after).
