Whats up guys, this is my first time here. I was wondering how many of you have had the implant removed. I had the implant put a little over a year ago, I love it but I am actually a little too thick for my girlfriend. I never thought I would have this issue, but she can barely fit me in her mouth, I defiantly can’t do anal. I am 8 1/4 at the base and 7 1/2 behind the head when erect. My question is for those of you that had the implant removed is it true that you still have a girth gain because of the capsule? I asked the Dr and he said that some other patients have removed the implant for the same reason that I want to. He said that several of them still had a girth gain of about an inch after removal. Is this the case?
I am not sure I want to remove it, it’s so cool to look down and see a fat dick like I have now. I can make my girlfriend squirt now as well, something I only thought adult films girls could do! ha ha. But I miss anal and having her deep throat, maybe a reduction in size would be the best route. Please let me know!
Should I jsut be happy that I have not had any issues with the implant?

Tell her she'll eventually get used to it. Removing the implant has reports of retraction, and I'm not sure that you will retain much of that (original) girth.

The math does not work. An inch of girth after the removal says you have an inch of scar tissue now around the implant. Do you think you have that now? The scar tissue in in the mm range or less.

I honestly have no clue what amount of girth is scar tissue and what amount is from the implant. I am just going off what the Dr told me, so far he has been right about everything. Has anyone that had the implant removed retained any girth, and what about length?
Thanks guys.

Hi All, New member here with one hell of a story needing more info on elist. I'm a 28 year old San Diego native who had dermal graft enlargement+lengthing with Dr. Krovoksky in La Jolla, CA late last year. After 2 months it became infected where he charged me $5500 for another surgical procedure to open me back up and clean cut out the infected areas. Before the infection I was very happy with my increase in girth but had lost almost 2 inches erect length. After the 2nd. infection removal surgery I had lost some girth. In Jan I became infected again!!! I went to Dr. Elist and he explained his implant technique and the drawbacks of the dermal graft and his silicone implant. He gave me options for treatment of the new infection which what leaking puss all over my underwear. He said that my graft would eventually dissolve from the bacteria eating at it!! I decided to have Dr. Elist remove the graft. I must say his surgery was less invasive, faster, more professional. He removed all the dermal graft inside, sewed up the incision below the head that was draining puss. Dr. Elist's pubic incision was much thinner than Krovosky and now, 2 months later barley noticeable. I am fully healed ALLREADY. The downside is there is a lot of scar tissue at the base in the pubic area that seems to cause erect lenght retraction Have not gained those 2 inches back! Elist has referred me to Dr. Lemperle here in San Diego who has an un-biased interest in my case. He has monitored my healing and has shot the scar tissue with cortisone, which has helped. I saw him last Tuesday and he said I can consider Dr. Elists implant in 3 weeks. He did mention that erect length loss may be permanent. So, as you all can see I’ve been through HELL the last 4 months but am still on the quest for size enhancement! Any advice towards my case or decision in getting the XL implant in the month of April, please let me know. Any info, success/failure stories would be very helpful. I can post pictures or whatever anyone needs, not shy here just want this to be over and successful Before initial surgery measurements 7" length, 5" Girth After initial Surgery 5.5" Length, 6.5in Girth!! Now 5.5ish" Length 5in girth WORSE THEN WHAT I STARTED WITH

basque, have you considered pmma instead of a solid implant ?

Your length is actually still within the average range...I know it's hard to look at it in a positive way but, at 5.5", it's still quite functional and sufficient. Obviously the length loss itself highlights the risks associated with phalloplasty in general.
I don't know how true this "permanent length loss" is but you can always give traction techniques/equipment a shot over the next few months to see how far you can go. Some have reported gaining some or all of their own length back after having initially lost it (from any number of procedures, including the Elist implant).
I'd recommend checking out the vast number of threads here regarding the Elist implant as well as other options to make the best informed decision possible. As Administrator, I'm not in a position to recommend any girth procedure (let alone ones I may undergo), but I'd be happy to share what pros & cons I know of with the multiple girth procedures available. As far as recommendations, success & failure stories, please refer to the forum's many active members, they'll be happy to recommend OR discourage a particular technique based on their experiences.

basgue, why did Elist refer you to a Dr without a medical license? You should defintely go and see a proper urologist to obtain and un-biased opinion. You can't accept a diagnosis of possibly permanent length loss and that you can have the implant in 3 weeks, until you've spoken to at least a couple of urologists. I've learned from experience that there is no point trying to cut corners with these things. You live in San Diego so it would be insane not to take advantage of being such close proximity to Gary Alter and not consult with him. You've got the most experienced surgeon in reconstrcutive penis surgery in the world just two hours drive away and instead you are dealing with a retired plastic surgeon and a urologist who has a terrible track record. I know Alter in expensive, but you only have one penis.

basque, I suffered a temporary loss of length after my scaffold surgery fiasco. I lost one inch in length and half an inch in girth. I was quite traumatised by this and was utterly convinced I would never regain it. The urologist who carried out my corrective surgery in the UK advised me to start pumping, which I did. And to my amazement a few months later I had recovered 95% of my length and my girth actually exceeded my original (which is another story in itself).
Whether the pumping was necessary I cannot say but I did speak to a guy called Silicon Disaster who had suffered similar retraction following an implant surgery with Elist which turned into a nightmare. The implant was removed after it burst through his shaft skin.
He lost considerable length but subsequently recovered most of it without the use of a pump. His view was nightime erections did the job.

Probably mrstone will write here or in the mrstone's revision and implant surgery thread about his experience with Dr. Elist, and hopefully, successful surgery/satisfactory results with the implant.

Hi Guys, As you can see I'm new to this site and just found out how to get back to my last post. Well I have read all you responses and reconditions today but have just had the implant put in by Elist on Thursday. Thank you for all your advise and cautious attitude. I went ahead with it anyways. In defense of Dr.Lempearle, he is a world renown plastic surgeon who doesn’t have a US surgical license. His responses to my questions were not biased in fact, Elist left all the responsibility to me and him to come up with the best judgment on whether to do the surgery or leave my penis alone. Lempearle made it clear to me that he doesn’t have a liscence. I allowed him to remove stitches and shoot cortisone for the scar tissue, which worked! To be honest guys I was the one pushing to have this done quickly. I am a fast healer and my skin was so stretched from the size of the prior dermal graft anyways the implant isn’t causing any black and blue marks or anything. DONT GET ME WRONG IT HURTS! Don’t let anyone tell you it will not hurt its the worst at night with an erection. So from what I can tell it is so far so good. I do have some questions for any of you who have had the implant... I am getting a serious sharp pain right under the left side of where the head meets the shaft, especially with an erection. Isn’t this where top of the implant is stitched in? Could this be the stitch tearing? And if it has the implant could shift out of place, right? Do these stitches dissolve over time once scar encapsulation begins. Also, Dr. Elist mentioned the he had placed the implant as tight as possible for my case and that once I am able to remove the drain I should see a small increase in girth as the "U" shaped implant expands out a little bit? I just don’t see this being possible if it is tied at the head by stiches. All in all I am happy so far and still in pain. As for girth/length increases My flacid girth is almost 6in and flacid length is about 5. Erect girth is at least a half inch more length maybe a little bit. Its just to soon to get a full erection because of the pain I described earlier. All I really care about it the permanent girth gain. My new girlfriend and I just met in December and have never had sex. She’s been there for me through it all, but let me tell you 6in. girth is going to tear her up, so go cautiously when you pick your implant size guys. For those of you who are skeptical about who I am. I can post pictures and/or point you to the website of Krovosky's partner that has pictures of me with the dermal graft that got infected. I am not shy and don’t mind sharing with anyone. I will be filing to have those pics removed soon since Krovosky did a HACK JOB

The implant was removed after it burst through his shaft skin. I remember seeing Silicon Disaster's pictures, his results were probably the worst I've ever seen from any type of Phalloplasty surgery. It looked to me like 30-40% of his penile skin died. Was he really able to recover any of his size from erections/training? I lost touch with him back in 2009, but I honestly thought he had no hope of having a normal penis again after seeing the nightmare he was left with.

I certainly hope what happened to Silicon Disaster doesn't happen to mrstone! That would be a shame... 8ball, if you are in contact with Silicon Disaster, could you tell him about his forum and tell him he would be most welcome to join it. Thanks.
