Hey guys, I'm very thankful to have found this forum since I have had some major complications and have had no one to talk about my situation with. Since my surgery my life has completely turned upside down. I pray and hope that my life is not over and that I can count on this forum board for support. After reading a bunch of the threads on this board I can tell you guys are the kind of people who understand where I am coming from. Anyway, I haven't been sleeping well, but it's 2:30 AM where I am at and I am finally getting tired. I look forward to sharing my story and hearing from other people who care about this surgery a lot like myself. Thanks.

Hang in there whitesnakeguy. A lot of times after a disastrous PE surgery, the patients have been able to receive corrective surgeries by another doctor. Have you consulted with any PE physicians or non-PE Urologist? There may be medical help out there for you.

Thanks for the support guys, great to hear from someone. I have consulted with two docs.
Since the PE surgery world is so small I don't want to go into detail on the board about what happened and end up in a law suite, but I will say I'm waiting to hear back from one doc(who has said once in the past that he is unable to help me).
The other doctor has said he cannot help me at this time....

Please feel free to PM me or send me a message if you are interested in my story or have any suggestions or ideas. To help people get a better since of where I am at, here are some things that have happened since my surgery.
I have lost my job, my girlfriend, and the ability to have sex(which is hopefully temporary and can be fixed with the right treatment/surgery).
I realize that other members and people out there have also had unsucessful surgeries, both minor and major which makes me feel like I'm not alone, and that gives me hope. I look forward to hearing from members through private message, email, or any way possible.

I sent some pictures to Dr.Elist and his staff a couple of days ago, hopefully I hear back soon. After everything I have been through and having so many unsucessful surgeries, I will be glad when this is all over and I am just able to have sex again.

You can share with us, if you wish, what happened to you without suggesting wrong doing by Dr's. Just mention the facts as they had happened.
Are you interested in the implant? if so, there is a lot of good info on this site.

Hi Whitesnake,
Sorry to hear of your results. Please hang in there. I hope these boards give you leads/info you need to contact other doctors to help you out.
Feel free to PM me if you want my opinion on Dr. Elist method or the Dr. himself. I also encourage you to ask all others you can. More input definitely is good I think.
Coming here is a good step cause you can communicate with guys who understand - and it helps to do that.

I finally get out of bed and see it's 2:00 PM. After losing my girlfriend and job and the surgery going so bad I feel like this is some nightmare or dream, but I can't wake up from it. I try my hardest to stay positive and convince myself that there is a possiblity that someone can fix what has gone terribly wrong. I know my girlfriend just couldn't be with someone who is so unhappy with his body and I couldn't keep my job being in the state of mind I am in, so those two things are out of my hands now.
Being able to express myself here and having members reach out to me has become one of the only things I look forward to.

Whitesnakeguy:
im sorry to hear about the problems u have had with PE surgery. What i dont understand is why after having all these problems you feel the need NOT to mention the name of the surgeon or surgeons that messed you up. Why protect these people in anyway. You should share the info and give the doctor the bad reputation they deserve and hope it gets to people before anyone else has to go through the same thing..... and you dont need to worry about any law suit if what you state is the truth.
good luck with everything..

I've been through the mill, so please feel free to PM if you need advice. One doctor who is the real deal is Dr. Alter in Beverly Hills. You're amongst friends here.

Hi Whitesnakeguy, Sorry to hear of your dilema, it is safe to discuss it here though. I had a successful surgery with Elist and if you decide to go that route, I would suggest going with the smallest implant he has (if he's thinking of using one for your recon.) it will still be plenty big enough. I did not get any internal stitching and that seems to help prevent erect length loss, in my opinion. you will get plenty of flaccid legnth increase either way. He seems to have a better implant design since my surg. PM if you'd like, try to stay positive if you can, there is help out there somewhere, and support here, good luck!

I will say my surgeon is no longer practicing or doing surgery, so other members don't have to worry about having him mess their surgery up or having complications.
