A vested interest is definitely behind the recent take-over of MNS - in the promotion of girth, I notice Dr Knight's name is mentioned. What does that tell you?

I am pretty sure even while MNS was up and running many knew (at least the veteran members knew) that the website is an entity bought and sold to the highest bidder. And that bidder was almost always a doctor. Lets not forget Dr. K. No not Knight, but the dermal fat graft Krakovsky.
The current doctor now? Hard to say. The general consensus was Elist since anti-prosthesis posts were being deleted/censored. Not sure why Dr. Knight would be upset if his competition was getting a bad reputation.
If you don't mind me asking, where did you see Dr. Knight's name mentioned? Can you link your sources?

I doubt MNS has been sold. Last time the evidence against the owner working with Dr Elist became compelling he claimed to sell the site, but hadn't. A few months later the site shut down for a while, all the posts were removed and the site started a new. Hence so many of the new members were unaware that in the past there were loads of fake posters claiming to have had surgery with Dr Elist. Unfortunately these false good reports tricked many into getting the procedure. Some have ahd good results, but far too many have had serious compications. In my opinion a sticky thred should be created warning people not to have this procedure under any circumstances. I know there are those that are very happy, but the chances of problems are far too high and wouldn't be acceptable in any other form of surgery.
I've heard the reason for the current situation on MNS is that the owner (BTC, or Chad) is suing the Dr he used to work with, Dr krakovsky. Another Dr who performed reconstruction on Chad is apparently giving evidence on his behalf. Rumour has it that this is the same Dr who carries out the silicone implant procedure and who seemed to be being protected by MNS. Basically what i've heard is that the owner of MNS needs to keep the Dr sweet so that he'll give evidence. I suspect once the court case is over then MNS will return and the owner will still be Chad. Could be wrong and can't say for sure, but this is what i've heard.

Hoddle, I respect your passion but we must improve at this site and rise above the behavior tolerated at MNS. Your statement “In my opinion a sticky thred should be created warning people not to have this procedure under any circumstances. I know there are those that are very happy, but the chances of problems are far too high and wouldn't be acceptable in any other form of surgery” doesn’t enhance this sites integrity. There is risk in all surgery’s and we need to remain none biased and let the facts speak for themselves. I will not be apart of any site that blacklists any procedure over another. It’s going to be difficult enough weeding through what is factual and what is false; so I have followed stalemango leads to post photos to validate my experience. I hope this starts a trend because that was the principal concern with the owner/administrator/moderator of my new size, this guy is a chameleon and you can bet he will try and influence this site.
Together we can have a meaningful place without suppression where men will come in droves for information, support and comradery if we remain true, nonbiased and above all supportive.

Skeptical one - on MNS home page click on 'penis widening' and the first paragraph reveals Dr Knight's name. Curious! Why would only his name be mentioned? The site appears to be against FFT so that probably rules out Dr Kravosky (is it?).
But Hoddle's assessment looks like a pretty reasonable take on the situation. Maybe we will never know the truth.
I just remember a story on MNS by some poor Italian who was left high and dry by Dr knight - he at one point was using a pig skin implant. I believe the Dr was struck off but maybe he's back. But looking at the evidence anything is possible. At least we know this site has integrity and we all have to do our bit to support it and attract guys to it. Skeptical One has to be applauded for his efforts in this.
I can't help wonder, though, why people like Unclejj, Yardstick - and many others who were supported by members in their surgeries - where have they got to now?

Together we can have a meaningful place without suppression where men will come in droves for information, support and comradery if we remain true, nonbiased and above all supportive. I'm against all procedures currently, but realise that guys will get them done and in some cases, where the penis is below average it it perhaps wortht he risk if the patients life is being neagtively effected. But the silicone procedure has to be regardered differently as the risks are far worse and the complications too frequent. I went out of my way to try and prevent people getting it doen 2 years ago, but was silenced by MNS. Now we have loads of guys that have suffered due to this procedure and if MNS hadn't silienced me previously, i know some of these could have been prevented. You are right that all surgeries carry risk, but the risk with the implant surgery is different, as it's the implant material itself that is the problem. If FFT or scaffs, or alloderm go wrong, they are usually correctable. But silicone is a foreign body implant, that is placed in a dynamic organ. It's totally different and in my opinion plain crazy. How can we let the facts speak for themselves? It's a proven fact that people were psoting false accounts claiming to have the Esist procedure. But MNS deleted all these accounts when it was exposed on another forum. It's a fact that those complaining about the Elsit implant had threads removed at MNS. It's a fact that know peer reviewed data has ever been published concerning the results of this procedure. I know you've had success with the procedure and I'm pleased for you. But surely you can see for the experience of others that you are one of the lucky ones and despite your own success should support the idea of warning people against this procedure. You are right that all surgery can worng, but the concern with this type of surgery is with the implant material itself and how the penis reacts to it. FFT for example, has a poor track record, but at least we know the implant material is safe, wont be encapsulated, be rejected and if it needs to be removed wont cause shortening. This is why, despite the success of people like yourself, i belive we all (you included) should discourage people from this procedure. All surgery can go wrong, but this procedure seems to have a high level of dissatisfaction, but most importantly, seems to be alot harder to correct than is made out by Elist. As I said before, I'm no fan of any procedure, but firmly believe the silicone implant should be discounted. I agree the forum shouldn't be biased, but at the same time if there is a procedure out there that we are aware of that causes significantly worse compications than the others, then this needs to be highlighted. Had it been done so on MNS, as I tried to do (before being banned 2 years ago), then I can't help but feel many guys wouldn't have suffered the terrible trauman they have.

You both have points.
Rather than creating a sticky issuing a warning, it would be better if members with negative experiences start a thread outlining their story and the tragedy of their complications. That way people can see that its complications are serious, and many then could conclude to forgo the procedure because of its risks. A sticky thread acting as a red alert wont do the discussion any justice.
This is because while there have been many reported complications, there is no actual factual data definitively concluding the success rate(s) of this procedure. Someone on MNS once suggested having spoken to a handful of guys and a majority of them reported complications - this is not even close to acceptable data. You would need a sample size of 20, 30, maybe 100 before drawing legitimate conclusions. My point ultimately is that while we can warn people about the implant, we do so as it relates to the plight of patients with bad outcomes. To state as a fact that it has a "high complication rate" does no one justice if it can't be backed up with a medical file, legal document, or a direct quote out of the doctor's mouth.
And trust me, I've seen photos of the one guy who had his implant protrude from the skin...and there was infection every where. Not sure why he didn't repost them after they got deleted on MNS a while back. And with "informeddecisionmaker's" explanations as the possible scientific/medical reasoning behind the implant's failure, it furthers my doubts about the implant's effectiveness.
But on the flip side we have two threads with successful implants showing remarkable post-op penises. I think the lesson is that we are all test subjects in an underground art of medicine, and that all methods, if innovated and improved, could be effective some day.

Go to Phallocare.com and you can read some of the testimonies thanking Dan Salas AND Chad Hedman. It says on Phallocare that Dr. Knight is their surgeon. There are some pictures of scrotal incisions that was pioneered by Dr. Rheinschild and supposedly improved/modified by Dr. Knight. Does anyone here know if the scrotal incisions are better than the transverse incisions for lengthening?

None of what they were doing was really pioneered by Rheinschild, but they had Ken Beaton believing it was. Ken seems incredibly gullible where Rhienshcild is concerned. The scrotal incision was pioneered by Dr Whitehead, before his ill health. The silicone spacer was used by a few surgeons in Europe, as was the porcelain matrix they were using for girth enlargement. What Rhienchild and Phallocare realised was that if people thought they were bringing advancements to the industry, it would be better to go to them, rather than use "outdated" methods. They managed to convince Ken at the yahoo group they were taking the industry forward with new ideas. When really they were just doing things that had been done with before elsewhere and with limited success. I've got a lot of time for Ken as he has put in a lot of effort over the years, but the way he bought the BS fed to him by Rhienchild and Knight just showed me he has little idea about this surgery. He actually believed they were getting 4" gains by using a silicone spacer! Luckily Dr Knight lost his medical license, though not before he messed one guy up pretty badly.

MNS - a marketing tool for Dr. Knight? Why would he need that since according to hoddle10, he lost his license. If Dr. Knight did lose his license why is he listed as the surgeon on phallocare.com?

I'm not sure they are still in business. I think Dan Salas is supposedly a good guy, but he has to keep hopping from surgeon to surgeon and perhaps should consider the PE business isn't a the right one for a decent person. Rhienchild was a notorious butcher, Krakovsky destoyed Chad's penis, Wineland had insurance problems, Echenberg was sued by Gary Alter and Dr Knight lost he license (I think) for having sex with a patient. Knight was also being sued by another patient and was listed on "rip off report." I think the truth is any surgeon needing to employ a broker like Phallocare has to do so as his practice isn't sufficiently busy and usually for good reason. In all honesty the only reason most of these guys turn to phalloplasty is becasue they weren't sufficiently successful in their previous careers. A busy and well respected Dr, simply doesn't need to venture into this industry and deal with all the problems that happen so frequently. That's why Gary Alter stopped doing girth work. His practice is busy enough, so why do a procedure with such a poor track record? No matter who the Dr is, you can expect higher chances of complications than virtually any other popular cosmetic procedure, hence Phallocare have had to change surgeons so many times.

Hoddle's assessment is correct. Chad is suing Dr Krakovski and Dr Elist has agreed to be an "expert witness" in the suit. Chad removed negative posts about Elist on MNS in exchange. It's all very unethical and unfortunate.

Last I heard Knight lost his license for sexual misconduct! What a stupid bastard, I must say.
Guys visiting here, nubies in particular have to realize there is a small group of cut throat phallo-mobs especially in LA, these groups are powered by a few doctors and those who work on their behalf whether officially or unofficially.
I have nothing against LA, infact I like it very much, but w/the exception of DrGary Alter, I don't trust the doctors there...just my opinion.

I think he might have appealed against the loss of licencse, as MNS are still deleting, or not allowing, negative posts about him. A few days ago i posted in a thread about him that not only did he lose his license, but two of his patients died during surgery and he was listed a few times at ripoffreport.com. But the post never appeared and we've even had guys on here talking about the Rhienchild clinic which Dr Knight worked for. The fact the clinic is still in business and MNS aren't allowing negative posts suggests that maybe he is still able to operate, which is why I think he might have appealed.
