I think the General Phalloplasty Discussion; Discuss Surgical Methods; Discuss Surgeons, Doctors and Medical Pioneers; and Science of Phalloplasty forums could be combined into one.
Usually, discussions in any of the aforementioned forums will bleed into other aspects of the procedure. For example, while discussing surgeons in the surgeon forum, discussions regarding surgical methods will inevitably follow.
Otherwise, great idea.

Great observation, and you are right, a lot of times topics do bleed over. You'll notice if you open the "Discuss Surgical Methods" board, there are like 6 or 7 sub-categories as well.
I think we're so used to having ONE straight surgical forum at MNS that this does seem far too spread out, regardless of its organization.
I'll put some thought into the best arrangement as well as get some additional input from other new members, but I think you're definitely onto the right idea about merging some of the forums.

And to be honest, LOL!, I've spent the last 2 hours working on the forum so I'm a tad lazy to make those changes right now, but the more I look at it I think some type of change will have to happen...
It'll probably be tomorrow before it happens though haha, still getting used to these admin abilities lolol

Okay I made some changes. The first forum, "General Phalloplasty Discussion" will serve as the primary forum on this website, much like the MNS "Penis Enlargement Surgery" board does.
Patient Support Group and Feedback Forum will remain the same and should be used accordingly.
The "Surgical Methods" was turned into a (RESOURCES ONLY) section, as well as a "Non-Surgical Methods" to use them as reference/resources rather than an active discussion site. Things like posting links, articles, and occasional discussions on medical/scientific/objective research. Posts made on other boards can also be COPIED AND PASTE into the (RESOURCES ONLY) forums if they are deemed relevant.
So far this setup seems most practical to me, but please let me know of any suggestions.

Okay for now I think I'm set with the general design of this site. Someone asked or mentioned that there may be too many sub-boards, but thats only true of the "Surgical Methods (RESOURCE ONLY)" forum. That forum was originally designed to organize discussions based on surgical method but I realized it was far too inefficient since we're so used to the MNS "all on one page" type of discussion board. So I turned the (RESOURCE ONLY) forums into online libraries.
You are always welcome to make suggestions either on this forum or by PM.

Thanks, Skeptical One - you seem to have the hang of things except in one department - but everything in its own good time. LOL. Thanks for a great resource
