Intro
Greetings! I'm sure you have found this website in hopes to learn about all the surgical options available for Penis Enlargement (PE). Well you have come to the right place! This site is an online discussion community exchanging information about all the techniques and doctors available. There are also members here who are sharing their experiences (or progress reports) on their post-op penile enhancements.
Please create an account and join the discussion! We prefer mature dialog, and straight-forward discussion. Try your best to get the spelling and grammar right when posting. Also consider using the "Search" function found in the header toolbar above since many answers have already been given to a lot of often-asked questions.
Hopefully this will be a more honest forum for a discussion so personal and private. Here we shall:
Respect each other's privacy.
Respect each other's decision making.
Engage in thoughtful discussion about phalloplasty.
Posts that WILL face deletion are posts that
Disrespect the above 3 rules (or the Forum Rules: phalloplasty.proboards.com/index.....thread=6&page=1 ).
Solicit on behalf of a commercial endeavor.
Are extremely off-topic.
Criticism and skepticism about a doctor and/or surgical method is acceptable and encouraged - as long as it DOES NOT defame a doctor or entirely discredit a method.
Likewise, supporting a doctor and/or surgical method is also acceptable and encouraged, as long as the promotion of the doctor isn't an endorsement or business affiliation.
This is to prevent cronies of certain surgeons trashing one method in order to market another and vice versa. I'm being clear about this all because there have been issues on other forums regarding censorship of material.
Given the reasons for this forum's creation, I find it necessary to outline everything I mentioned above so that we can create an environment which upholds free speech but does so without the interference of "certain interest groups."
In conclusion, enjoy an honest, insightful, and intelligent conversation about all matters related to the surgical augmentation of the one thing in our lives that drives us crazy! haha! We are here to spread the word, state truths, and provide testimony for all future prospective phalloplasty patients, good and bad!
PhalloBoard's Background
PhalloBoard's inception was in late September with an official launch date of October 1st, 2010. The site's original Administrator "Skeptical One," opened this free-of-charge message board in response to the actions of a separate, yet popular, message board known as MyNewSize (dot com). The forum administrator at MNS (MyNewSize for short) was actively deleting and censoring content that was critical of a certain doctor and method. The deleting and censorship got so out of hand that new content at MNS could not be trusted.
Skeptical One decided to create a new forum using proboard's great message board service where he sought to create a forum that was entirely open to all things phalloplasty. Skeptical One's mission was to create a forum that didn't repeat the same mistakes of previous forums, including MNS.
Skeptical One set the tone with a comprehensive set of forum rules that ensured fair and open discourse. Skeptical One next promoted MNS veterans who had migrated over to PhalloBoards as Moderators to further demonstrate the legitimacy and accountability of this forum. And since then, Skeptical One has been primarily responsible for keeping the tone and discussion stable and the content relative.
Skeptical One believes that the integrity of this site is the most important aspect to preserve. Given the taboo nature of phalloplasty, information is incredibly limited to sources that are typically bias (doctors, brokers, etc). A free flow of information and the exchanging of notes, opinions, facts, and experiences will enable prospective patients to make educated decisions on whether or not to pursue penis enlargement surgery.
If you have arrived at this site and are keen on learning, then you can probably relate with 99% of the forum's users who know how important and how serious this topic is. Unlike the commercial nature of the penis enlargement industry, this forum is non-revenue/non-profit and will strive to be the best open resource for phalloplasty on the web!
Forum Organization
As you may notice at the Homepage of this message board, there are a few forums to pick from. Let me explain the best way to utilize these forums so that there is no confusion.
General Phalloplasty Discussion will serve as the primary discussion forum for all things related to Phalloplasty. The bulk of the conversation will be found here.
Patient Support Group & Progress Reports is a great way for members to share their stories (or progress reports) and also a great place to find mutual support in what is otherwise a very private matter.
Feedback Forum is a place to offer suggestions to Moderators and Admin(s) about anything concerning this site. It is also the appropriate forum to post any technical issues you may be experiencing.
The two (RESOURCE ONLY) forums are good places to tack on articles, links, copy & pasted messages from other forums, and discuss more objective/medical topics that could serve as an "online library" for future members. This idea was borrowed from Thunder's approach to message boards. Also be aware that topics and posts you make in the General Phalloplasty Discussion forum can be copied and pasted into the RESOURCES ONLY forums if they are found to be relevant and important.
And remember you have access to Private Messages and the Search Function which can be found on the toolbar at the very top of the site. It is important that you search your topic before asking questions because a lot of the time the answers are already there.
It's recommended to be logged in as a member when browsing; that way all the threads that have been recently active display a "NEW" icon by them, thus making it easier to follow active threads. Being logged in will also let you download any photos or files uploaded by our members.
You can also access your profile in the above toolbar and upload an avatar (mine is the Penguin to the left). A chat function is available (above toolbar) but usually best used by setting "appointments" with other members.
Feel free to add discussion to any threads that have been inactive.
Private Messaging
The PM inbox should be next to your name at the very top of this site. It is recommended you be sure to skim by it every time you log on, especially moderators.
Sending PM's can be done in 3 ways.
If you are having issues sending a Private Message, either make a thread at the Feedback Forum, or email me at Phalloboards@gmail.com.
Email Notification
This forum has a feature to notify you when new posts are added to threads of interest.
To use it:
(1) go to the thread you're interested in receiving notifications of new replies;
(2) bookmark it;
(3) go to your profile, then bookmarks, then manage bookmarks;
(4) select e-mail under the notification drop-down menu; and
(5) click on update bookmarks and preferences.
PhalloBoards Chat Room
I have started up the chat room function. It may ask you to register, simply re-use all your member account info that you use for this forum so it's easier to remember. The chat option should be next to the "Logout" link in the header above.
While it is not typically active, it does serve as a great tool when more real-time communication is needed. In the future should someone want to set an appointment with another member, or set an appointment with the entire forum, it can be done using the chat feature.
It is also advised to open a second tab (or window) on your browser so that you can surf the rest of the forum while chatting.
Forum Online Status
On occasion PROBOARDS's servers experience issues that can cause problems that may prevent you access to these message boards. If this happens, rest assured the site should be back up usually within 30-60 minutes (or less).
If this problem becomes persistent and problematic, please email me at phalloboards@gmail.com, thanks.
Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar
Believe it or not, at Thundersplace you actually get an Administrative warning if your posts are sloppy, incomplete, and/or full of typos.
Over here at PhalloBoards, (fortunately) we aren't quite that strict. However, I do ask of everyone to at least review their post once before sending. If you notice an error afterwards, usually there should be an option to go back and edit your own posts.
At times if the typo error is so significant that it can actually alter the context of a message, I'll correct it myself...but I rather not have to modify other people's posts as it may come off as intrusive and only will do so when absolutely necessary. An example is when someone titled a thread with "FTT" when it should have read "FFT" (which I corrected).
This isn't an English-Major forum so a sentence like this would be OKAY: 4 days post-op swelling down will rest
A NOT-so-okay sentence would look something more like this: 4dayz posotp tired as hellz dick looks fatt
While it isn't against forum rules to have unruly spelling, grammar, etc, it will receive PM warnings if it is excessive... I think it improves the content and quality of the overall site when we give our posts that one extra proof-read, and it prevents me from having to chastise a member over something completely unrelated to the topic(s) at hand.
(p.s. - I know some of you use a cell phones/smart phones/blackberrys to make posts and it's easy for those devices to goof up words, but when you get free time and are browsing this site again, please double check previous postings, thanks! )
Thanks, and remember Forum Rules!
Hopefully you have spent the time to read this and gain some knowledge on how best to use these forums. If you are a registered member planning to join the discussion, it is imperative you review the forum rules found here: phalloplasty.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=6
Thanks,
-S.O.

Sending PM's can be done in 3 ways.
- If you want to PM a person who has posted something, look at his post, to the left and under his username is an icon to Private message him. This way is usually the fastest and most convenient. You'll notice in this very post if you look to the left you will see the small red rectangular icon with an envelope.
- You can click the "Messages" link at the very top of this site and use the "New Message" icon found in the messages toolbar to send a message to your desired recipients.
- Lastly, you can click the "Members" at the very top of this site, find & select the member you are looking for, then you have their profile come up. On their profile there is an option to "Send them a Private Message."
If you are having issues sending a Private Message, either make a thread at the Feedback Forum, or email me at Phalloboards@gmail.com.
