Hello All,
I'm new here. Tried posting at MNS but was a hassle to get posted then never could respond to PM's or post to thread.....so here I am.
I recently had PE surgery for girth enhancement only. Mine was just before Thanksgiving and I am now 12 days out. I know we are all different, but here is my experience.
I actually didn't find MNS or this board before surgery so my research was a lot of Googling. I decided silicone implant was surest bet for girth enhancement. I understood the risks and made the call to do this. After all, no guts no glory, right. I talked to Dr. E a few times before surgery but never actually went to his office until day of surgery.
I saw and handled the implant. I liked it, and I think I must have got the "new generation" model. I got XL and implant is about 270 degrees around leaving bottom open. It is much thicker at base and tapers to top behind glans. It is one piece, it has a cut split area at top in center which will allow it to open and widen during erection.
I am an engineer so I did notice the fibermesh grid in the material. To me that is a good innovation as it really should eliminate tearing, especially at the split cut area. The silicone I thought had a good mix of flexible / spongy feel, yet was pretty rigid in the long direction. About as good a mix as I could think of as it isn't too hard when flaccid, yet when erect it stays as hard as natural in my opinion.
Surgery went well for me. I took only 1 pain pill first nite, then popped 2 advil pms next nite, then 1 advil pm the next nite, and haven't had a pain pill day or nite since. I would describe the pain as mild. Slight burning first piss, and also slight burning when drain was cleared/cleansed next morning after surgery (15 seconds). IMO a small pain price to pay for the girth enhancement I wanted and now have.
Since then I have wrapped 24/7. Drain was removed on day 5 and was painless. Drain opening is now completely closed and healing very well. Incision is healing well and scar is hard, but I plan to massage to soften area.
Erections at nite did get my attention for first week or so. I felt a skin tearing type of sensation as well as some internal discomfort on bottom side of penis where implant pressed against internal contact area. But this has lessened quite a bit over time. It makes sense that the skin needs to grow to accomodate the larger girth and I expect more growing to occur until my body has adjusted.
Verbal instructions from Dr. E don't always match up to the written ones provided so I am not sure I am doing olive oil at right time, but I started doing it at day 5 before wrapping and I think it helps alot. I am also not quite sure what wrapping is supposed to help with, but assume it is to provide protection and padding so capsule can form. I wrap snug but not tight as I want to leave room for capsule fluid.
So, my gain has been good. Pre surgery I was 4" long and 4" girth. Post surgery I have been 5.5 to 6" long and 6" girth. I haven't measured erect post surgery yet, but think I will be okay. I was 6.5 to 7" long and 5" girth pre surgery and expect same when I measure. I have had a few pretty strong erections over last week and my wife says I look every bit as long as before.
I may be unlike some or most in that I was ok with my length, and really did this for girth. And I love the girth size increase. XL is supposed to give 2 to 2.5" increase and so far I am on track for that. The capsule growth add about .5" I guess. The implant 2".
I am happy to share - I know I would have loved to hear about day to day things before I had surgery as my fears were about pain level and being able to function at work / home. I went to work 1 week after surgery and did just fine. I went to family Turkey day 3 days after. The most noticeable thing for me is that it has taken awhile to be able to bend enough for socks /shoes, but that improves every day. I am probably being cautious so I don't rip incision area.
In some ways I am glad I didn't find these boards as I may have hesitated or cancelled out. I feel sorry for those that have had experiences that were not good or up to their expectations. I think I may have just had blind luck to time it with the new generation material. But, so far everything I was promised has come true. Low pain, real girth gain, and able to function at work and home within a week.
I welcome your questions and thoughts.
