I will be getting surgery June 9. Getting it done at Texas Phalloplasty Institute. The procedure is the same as Dr. Giunta, FFP with PRP. They are colleagues. Having both length and width. Currently 5 1/2 X 5 1/2. Always been self conscious with flaccid size. Always wanted more. I'm 53 and fit just want to be all I can be. Maybe a midlife crisis. I can't wait. Thanks to all on this board for their help and sincerity. I will keep you posted.

david, Welcome to the forum and thank you for informing us about your upcoming surgery. Please share your experiences you have with surgical PE - both good and bad. I never heard about the TX Phalloplasty Institute before, but that's what great about this forum - the free sharing of information. Guys, Here is a link to the Texas Phalloplasty Institute www.texaspenilesurgery.comonly one example, but looks impressive: www.texaspenilesurgery.com/expectations.htm

Good luck David! My understanding is that staged (PRP) FFT is probably the best approach with this method. It improves retention rates in theory. I'll be keeping posted!

Thanks for the reply. I will be using a staged approach if needed, three months apart. If length can go to 7" then the second injection would get me to between 7 to 7.5 in girth. That would exceed my expectations. I would like to stay somewhat proportional. Thank you again.

Had surgery about 5 hours ago. All seems to have gone well. The doc said initial gain was 3/4 " I was a little groggy. I assume that was length. He said this was a harbinger of a good result. I go back tomorrow to have bandage changed and post op visit. I does seem to be quite a bit larger. Will keep you posted.

I know it's been at least a week post-op, would like to know how things are. You mentioned the doctor performing your procedure is a colleague of Dr. Giunta's so I'm curious to know if his method is as (or more) effective. There has been some claims that FFT-PRP is a modern approach with a significant improvement in retention rates (relative to past retention rates). I hope that is the case, and every progress report helps verify the legitimacy of surgical improvements.
Happy healing, take your time and report when ready.
