Hi guys,
I wanted to start this thread for those planning to see Dr. Casavantes in Tijuana.
Could those of you who saw Dr. Casavantes recommend which airport in California you flew into? How did you travel to see Dr. Casavantes in Tijuana. Which hotels would you recommend, both in Tijuana and in California? How safe is it in Tijuana, Mexico and around Dr. Casavantes' clinic?
Feel free to expand your thoughts in this thread, it would really help the rest of the members out.
Thank you.

I flew into San Diego and they had a driver from a shuttle service meet me at the airport and they drove me to the clinic. They then dropped me off arthe hotel. I went back to San Diego to stay. Both dr c and the nurse wade live in San Diego. I'd much rather be on the american side. Plus it's just much easier for me.

For the other members who went to Dr. C's office please feel free to add your recommendations as well.

This time I'm going down in the morning and flying back that night This procedure doesn't sound invasive, but still be mindful of blood clots since you'll be doing a bit of flying. Good luck and congratulations.

You can help minimize the risk for blood clots by getting up maybe once every hour to walk to the rest room stretch a little and walk back to your seat, just avoid being idle too long.

Do you need a passport to travel to Tijuana? Most of you guys took a taxi to Dr. C's office. Was it a problem to find a tax after your appointment to drive you back to your hotel in San Diego? I am not trying to get nosy, but approximately how was cab fare from the Days Inn to Dr. C's office and how much from Dr. C's office back to the hotel? Thanks.
Great results there, EP!

@e.P. How long did it take for the bruising to subside? sheldonMy understanding is that Dr. C's office offers shuttle service, $50 to the clinic, $50 back to your hotel. Not sure what it would cost if you got an independent taxi service. You do need a passport to return into the U.S.

The biggest advantage is safety. Appreciate everyone's input into this thread!
